Disrespect Is Not Confidence!

Disrespect? I hate it so much! I hate when people label disrespect as confidence or assertiveness. I hate it when people disrespect others under the guise of “speaking their truth”.

Disrespecting people isn’t cool, and it doesn’t make you woke or confident it only shows how immature and stupid you are. Instead of looking confident, you end up looking insecure.

I’m sick and tired of people going around disrespecting others and seeing nothing wrong with it. There’s nothing cool about being disrespectful nor attractive about a grown man or woman disrespecting people.

You can make your point without disrespecting the other person, and you can also have confrontations, arguments, uncomfortable conversations and conflicts without disrespecting the other party.

I’m putting this out there because the rate of disrespect in this generation is alarming. Our mothers and fathers back then were and still are respectful, yes not all of them were or are 100% respectul, but the ratio compared to now is 7:3.

This generation enjoys disrespecting their elders and they see nothing wrong in doing it. This is totally wrong and has to stop. We shouldn’t be raising young men and women who are rude to the core and wouldn’t care less about how they treat other people.

This generation need to learn how to be respectful. It costs nothing to be respectful nor does it make you less human.
Learn to be respectful and treat everyone with love and respect, regardless of their age, status, or background.
