🎄 HIVE Advent Calendar - December 10, from Nigeria🇳🇬

Yipppeee it’s almost Christmas guys and I can’t believe I’m participating in one of the sweetest Hive Christmas tradition and this was possible because of my dearest friend @go-kyo

Yesterday @go-kyo sent me 20 Hive and I was shocked until I read her post on the Hive Advent Calendar which was introduced by @bozz

The whole idea of the Hive Advent Calendar is to pass 25 Hive to different people. All you have to do is keep one Hive for yourself and send the remaining to the next person and that person continues with the tradition.

I love the idea of sending Hive to different parts of the world and I am happy to be part of this😃

The Rules

• Religion doesn't matter. It doesn't even matter if you celebrate Christmas, this is just something fun I wanted to do.
• Don't be a dick and keep all the HIVE for yourself. The idea is for you to keep one HIVE and then pass the rest on. Be sure you can trust the person you send this to before you send the HIVE.
• Try to wait a day before you send along the remaining HIVE. The idea is that by the time we reach Christmas we are at 1 HIVE left and the last person keeps that. If we blow through all the HIVE before we get to December 5th, that is going to be kind of lame. I mean, if it happens it happens, but let's try to keep it from happening.
• When you send the HIVE please put hive advent in the memo field.
• I don't want to mess up anyone's posting schedule, but try to write a post about when you send the HIVE. Please use the tag #hiveadvent and try to include these rules in the post so the next person knows what to do.

My dearest friend @go-kyo has been nothing short of amazing and ever since we met at Acidyo’s event it’s been smooth sailing for us.

Gokyo is one lady I respect so much, very hardworking and resilient. She’s one of the pillars of the Hive Japanese community and I have watched her help build the community without throwing in the towel, it’s so nice to see that she’s been doing a pretty good job.

I didn’t know much about the language barrier on Hive and how it affected non-English speakers until I started engaging with Gokyo posts and some Japanese people in the Hive Japanese community and I am proud of each and every one of them as regardless of the language barrier they still are putting in the work.

I received 20 Hive from Gokyo, after keeping one I sent the remaining one to my dearest friend @tinabrezpike

All the way from Nigeria crossing various seas and borders I sent 19 Hive to my dearest friend @tinabrezpike in Austria.

@tinabrezpike in simple words is MULTIFACETED, have you checked her blog? She’s amazing, she always has something interesting to talk about. From history to photography, health, family and so many more Tina never disappoints.

I and Tina became friends not too long but I have learnt a lot from her blog.
I remember the first time we crossed paths, she wrote something about her writing activities and how she gets lost in her own world and sometimes chases her husband just to write in peace and I could totally relate to being lost in my own world and chasing everyone else and since that day it’s been a wonderful journey.

Dearest @tinabrezpike I know you’re busy with moving to your new apartment but I just want you to know that you are one brave bear, facing life's challenges head-on without backing down is awesome and admirable and Lady I am rooting for you!! 😃

Tina it’s your turn now.

I have nothing special planned for my Christmas but I know for a fact that I am going to have a swell time with my family.
