Not All Space Or People Are Healthy// LOH Contest #274.

Welcome to the chapter 2 of 12 in 2026.
Happy new month, happy new week and a happy Sunday my favorite Ladies, aren't we so blessed to be experiencing this triple blessings so in addition to these blessings I will like to share from the second contest topic which says: Tell us an anecdote from your recent or past experiences, was it funny, embarrassing or sad? Tell us about that moment.

This anecdote that am about to share is from my recent experience, though little by little it might have started in the past but the crowning of it all happened recently. To start with, I am a departmental course rep for two department, yeah don't ask me how that was possible but it Sha is possible and infact it happened to me, in my main department I am the main course rep while in the other department which happened to be the department of my teaching course I am the assistant course rep.

So that is how my journey started plus it's the positions I held that drained me last semester, then coming down to this semester I started hearing rumours from people that some people are planning to elect another assistant course rep in my teaching course because according to them I am not taking that course as a double major so I had to drop for the main carriers of the course to take the position, that was a great relief because for me that was like a prayer answered but what shocked me the most was hearing that someone I called a friend was also advocating for me to drop down and in her own words she's the one fit for the position, I was more than shocked to hear that and just for me to confirm what I heard I had to ask her indirectly.

So I met her one day in the lecture hall and told her I want to drop down from the assistant course rep position and I was looking for someone who can take the position, immediately she told me that she will take it, omoh at that moment I just smiled before turning to look at her because we were sitting side to side together, then I told her that if she wants the position that bad I can give it to her and that was how I dismissed the discussion, but to me that wasn't all about the positions it reads alot.

To me it read lack of trust, confidentiality, love and many more, while I took this person as a close friend she was there competing with me all this while, so in summary of all the whole drama I learnt that not all who call you friend or even sister means well for you, I learnt that not all space are health for ones growth and just at any minute you can be backstabbed at the back so my fellow ladies being in your own space and reserving alot sometimes is the best.
