Intentional Steps Into 2026, Keeping It Real Yet Purposeful// LOH Contest #269.

We would have only shouted a big kudos to us for making it to the last days in 2025 but the if we said we knew how we got here or we say it's by our capacity we got to the 28 of December 2025 then we lie to ourselves, so in gratitude from the depth of our heart we say thank you to God that He made us see yet another year folding up and in the spirit of gratitude I would like to steal few minutes of your time as I take you through what looks like my 2026 resolutions.

Sometimes when I hear peoples new year resolution I would just be laughing why because some people just come up with ridicule resolution that they wouldn't keep up with so that's why it gladden my heart to see that the instructions was to think about the simplest and easiest to accomplish which are important which is why I have checked me right from within and I feel these are the things I should take a firm decision on.

I have resolute to taking my academic more seriously as I resume school next month, I will stay back in class and read more often, I would read ahead of every single class no matter how draining it use to be, I would make sure to give my best to every course hence forth because I feel last semester I didn't intentionally do all these things.

The next resolution I am taking is to be intentional with who and who I keep around me, it's not all about meeting new people but meeting the right people, building the right connection and taking out too much unnecessary drama in my life that comes in disguise as friends who just cause troubles, I also intend setting boundaries with others stating it out clearly so I can protect and keep my self value.

I think another resolution is to cultivate the habit of gratitude always even for the little things, in that way it keeps one to be contended with what they have and where they are, and also prioritize me always like I mean choosing my peace of mind always, which I would also prioritize self care and self love.

For 28 Dec this resolutions are just okay but expect a slight changes here and there as we officially enter the year, so what about you? What's your own resolutions.
