Celebrating Me, Celebrating You, Happy International Women's Day.

I am just a girl so spare me some slack, I am still my dad's girl so yess I am still a baby, I definitely am not perfect so cut down those high expectations of me because I am not God I would definitely disappoint, I go by the pace that I can handle so I definitely don't do the society pattern where certain standards are set for you at a particular age and time, from all the chaos and tribulations of our daily life I certainly deserve some peace and quietness so don't judge me when I lock out some certain people who don't bring that rather the opposite.

Yess am just a girl that's why 8 March has been selected out to celebrate me and not just me but every other woman in the whole wide world, I hear women are at the receiving ends at most situations that's why more attention are been focused on the girl child, I hear that a lady's education ends in the kitchen that's why some don't even bother training the girl child because she becomes someone else's property at the end of the day, I hear that a girl child is not supposed to hold some certain position of power like the SUG president in higher institution because they are too fickle to handle such responsibility, I see women been neglected so we fight to prove out worth while the other gender just earns it.

So today is not a day to show pity to the girl child or rather the woman but rather it's a day to celebrate they women's achievement so far, you know this saying that goes "when a lizard jumps down from a high place and no one praises it, he will praise himself by nodding his head" so today we celebrate ourselves globally of the achievement we have made so far and not only celebration but also a spark for change or push to do more and this more is not just to women but also society, more in the sense that there's equality in both genders.
