MY INTRODUCTION POST

WHO AM I

I believe that the best way to connect with this amazing family is by sharing an autobiography about myself. My name is CYRIL AMARACHI FAVOUR, a Christian and strong believer of God and God's Word. I am a native of the eastern part of Nigeria, who was born and brought up in Lagos which is a state in the western part of Nigeria. Being a child who was not opportuned to live and grow up with her Mother, my story is one that explains the contrasts between Nature and Nurture, which is a psychological concept that defines what influences a person's behaviour, personality and characteristics. Nature is the factor that examines a person's biological or genetic traits, temperament, physical features e.t.c.While Nurture explains the influence of environment in a person's life; A person's upbringing, cultural values, educational development, cycle (friends and associates) and life experiences are all factors influenced by nurture. Therefore, I am a person whose behaviour, values, beliefs and personality were primarily shaped by nurture.

ACADEMICALLY, PROFESSIONALLY and SKILLFULLY

Presently, I am an undergraduate in the department of Psychology and Behavioural Studies under the Social Sciences faculty at Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti in Nigeria. My discipline is the scientific study of human mind, behaviour and mental processes, encompassing everything from our innermost thoughts and emotions to our interactions with others and the world around us. I am a training Data Analyst at Upschool Africa, an online Digital skills training platform. I am also a Crochet artist. Somebody might ask, what's Crochet? Crocheting is the art of transforming yarns and fibers into beautiful and wearable pieces. Crocheting is a skill that requires creativity, patience, consistency and hard work which I have developed because of my passion to learn and grow in it, and now, I am the Crochet artist behind the Favvyscrochet brand.

FEW THINGS ABOUT ME

I am an introvert, self esteemed, conscientious, honest, trustworthy, disciplined and a principled person. I am also an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills who enjoys connecting and networking with people. I love to impact, share knowledge and ideas with people in the smallest or biggest way I can, just like I have done in my beginning paragraph (Nature and Nurture). I am a fan of gospel songs and chants and a lover of Korean series or drama which is mostly known as Kdrama in Nigeria. I am a fashion girl who isn't interested in trendy things, but will always go for Uniqueness, Elegance and Decency in all her looks. My favorite colors are White which symbolizes purity,peace and simplicity, and Gold which symbolizes wealth,success and royalty.

HOW I FOUND HIVE

There's something special about having good friends. I have always used this line "In all thy gettings, have good friends" - Sounds funny right- but it's true, Because why not? Just like the popular saying "Show me you friend and I will tell you who you are". Therefore, having purpose driven friends around you that can lift you up, support you and be so intentional about your growth is very important. Friendship with her taught me that distance is not and cannot be a barrier to bound, connect, love and build good relationships with people. We found each other from a crochet community and connected so well, which is another reason I am proud and happy to be a crochet artist. Crocheting, which is my skill, connected me with an intentional, supportive and loving big sister. This amazing person is none other than @zali.bee. Yes she's the one. She introduced me to Hive after seeing my desire to impact, educate, connect, share ideas and build my creative crochet skill at a different level of networking.
Once again, I am using this medium to Appreciate you for who you are, the love and impact you made in my life and the trust to introduce Hive and share other things with me. Just know and always remember you have a place in my heart ❤️.

MY PLAN IN HIVE

I aim to bring in the blend of creativity and networking.I also look forward to learning,growing, impacting and being a notable person in Hive. I want to meet new people here, interact and connect with them and build real friendships. I am really excited to be part of the Hive Platform and I look forward to exciting experiences. In all, I sincerely appreciate the support and love from everyone.
