Preferred Season For Me. LOH #292

Hello Ladies, so if there is one season I always look forward to every year, it is definitely the rainy season

I know that some people might prefer the dry season because they do not have to worry about getting caught in the rain or that they have to deal with muddy roads, but seriously me I will choose the rainy season like eee any day any time.

So the main reason that I like this particular season is because of the weather, fact is that anybody who lives in Nigeria knows how hot the sun can be during the dry season, there are days when you will go outside just for a few minutes and the sun feels too hot and before you know it even before you get to where you are going you are already sweating from your head to toe

And that is one thing I do not miss at all.

During the rainy season the weather is usually very much cooler and also nicer, the air feels fresher and it is easier to walk around without worrying about you sweating and it is this times that I like taking walke and those walks are a lot more fun because I am not too hot or sweaty.

Sometimes, after it rains everything feels different too, I don't know if I am the only one that thinks that way....

The sky looks calmer.

The air feels cooler.

It is even easier to sleep at night because you are not always turning your pillow to find a cooler side, also another thing I enjoy is the sound of the rain.

There is something about hearing the rain on the roof when you are inside, It makes me feel peaceful and relaxed, whether I am reading, writing, watching a movie or just resting, the rain makes everything feel so much nicer.

Of course the rainy season is not perfect. Every season has some things about it.

For me, the biggest downside is drying clothes, that is honestly the one thing that can become frustrating sometimes.

You know that during the dry season you can wash your clothes in the morning and they will be dry before long , but during the rainy season it can take a long time for your clothes to get dry.

Sometimes the sky will look bright and promising and then suddenly rain just appears from nowhere and now ruins your plans for the day.

Yeah, Thankfully, I don't struggle with it too much because my washing machine spins my clothes dry, which helps me a lot, so it is not like a major problem for me personally.

Still, there are days when I wish the sun would just come out properly and do its job, not the aggressive dry season sun that wants to roast everybody alive.

Just enough sunshine to dry clothes quickly and disappear again, I think that's the balance I would love.

Cool weather most of the time, with occasional sunny days when needed, overall, though, I still prefer the rainy season.

The cooler temperatures, the fresh air, the comfortable walks, and the relief from the harsh heat make it worth it for me.

Every time the rainy season comes , I find myself enjoying the simple things more, even though waiting for my clothes to dry can be annoying, it is a small price to pay for the weather that does not make me sweat too much.

So if I had to choose ,I would choose the rainy season every time.
