Nope... I Don't Care About Trends. Loh#295

I am not a fashion enthusiast at all, in fact, if there is one area of life I don't stress myself over, it is trying to keep up with fashion trends, i know some people love fashion like alot, they know the latest styles, the trending sneakers, the newest designers, and they are always updating their wardrobe to match what's currently in vogue.

Me? I am not that guy at all

I just wear what I like and what is more important is what I am comfortable in, comfort always come first for me, If I wear something and that i do not feel comfortable in it, i probably will not wear it again, no jokes,
no matter how expensive it is or how many people say it is the latest trend, i have never really been the type of person to buy clothes because everybody has or is wearing them.

I just open my wardrobe and pick out what I feel like wearing for that day, and that is it.

Simple.

Sometimes people ask, have you seen this new trend? and I am just there wondering when it even started, that is how disconnected I am from the fashion world, It is not that I think fashion is bad.

Not at all, everybody has their interests, and for some people, fashion is a way of expressing themselves, i actually respect that because everyone has the freedom to dress however they like, It just is not something i personally pay much attention to, as a man, I honestly don't think fashion trends should be one of my biggest worries at this stage of my life.

There are so many other things demanding my attention, work, family, personal goals, finances, and trying to become a better version of myself, those are the things that occupy my mind more than whether a particular style is trending or not.

Of course, I still like looking neat, I believe there is a difference between dressing well and chasing trends, you can wear simple clothes, look clean, smell nice, and still look good without trying to copy every new style that comes out, that is the kind of dressing I prefer.

Simple.

Comfortable.

Presentable.

One thing I've also noticed is that trends come and go, what everybody is rushing to wear today might become old fashioned in another six months, If I keep trying to follow every trend, I will probably spend more money than necessary just trying to keep up.

I would rather invest in clothes I genuinely like and can wear for years than keep changing my wardrobe because social media says something new is in fashion, at the end of the day, I believe people should wear what makes them happy, If following trends is your thing, that is perfectly fine.

If, like me, you would rather just wear whatever is already hanging in your wardrobe, that's fine too, for me, confidence doesn't come from wearing the latest fashion.

It comes from feeling comfortable in whatever I am wearing, so no, I am not a fashion enthusiast, I don't chase trends, I don't lose sleep over what's currently in style, I simply wear what I have, what I like, and what makes me feel comfortable, and honestly, that is more than enough for me.
