Birthdays To Me... Loh#293

Hello ladies , Welcome to a new week here again.

Birthdays have never really been a big deal to me and It is not like I hate birthdays or anything, nah, I just do not pay too much attention to them at all, every year when my birthday comes around, i am usually just like, "Oh okay ,it is my birthday today" ,that is pretty much it.

I know that some people really get excited many weeks before their birthdays, they start by planning outfits, photoshoots, parties, and countdowns, and some even have entire birthday months.

For Me? Nope, I am not really that kind of person.

Most times, I just see it as another day, except that people happen to be wishing me a happy birthday and I have to rely , yes of course, I appreciate the messages and the love from friends and family, but I am not usually the type to organize something big or make a lot of noise about it, I guess that is just how I have always been.

When it comes to celebrating other people's birthdays, I am not much different either.

I won't lie, I am not the person that remembers everybody's birthday or goes all out for every celebration, there are people who are very good at that, they know dates, send gifts, plan surprises, and all that.

I'm not really wired that way, the birthdays I pay more attention to are usually the people closest to me
For example, my mum's birthday is one I take seriously, that is my mother, so naturally I want her to fe el special on her day, whether it iscalling her, spending time with her, getting her something, or simply making sure she knows she is appreciated, I always try to make an effort.

The same goes for my girlfriend's birthday.

That one, you definitely cannot forget, even if you wanted to, life will quickly remind you why that is a bad idea, so yes, I pay attention to that one too and make sure she feels celebrated.

Then there's my brother's birthday as well, apart from those few people, I honestly don't pay too much attention to birthdays, It is not because I don't care about people.

I do, I just do not really attach a lot of importance to these birthdays the way some other people do, but then If someone invites me to celebrate with them,like they are throwing a party, yes, I will be happy for them and wish them well with all my heart, but personally, birthdays have never been something I get overly excited about.

As for my next birthday,hmmm honestly I don't have any major plans, and already knowing myself, I will probably spend the day quietly in.y house , I would appreciate the people who remember my birthday , I would reply to messages, and move on with life.

Maybe I will eat something nice, maybe I will spend time with the people closest to me.

But a big celebration? I highly doubt it.

At the end of the day, I think everyone relates to birthdays differently, some people love the attention and excitement that comes with it, while others, like me, are just happy to be alive and keep things simple.

And honestly, I am perfectly okay with that.
