What is the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you, something you’ve even laughed about yourself? Tell us about your experience.

Hello gentlemen and #ladiesofhive, happy new week. I trust you are doing well. I welcome you to my blog.
There is a popular saying that some blessings come in disguise. Embarrassing times are also part of our history and lessons. They always happen for some reason.
Once upon a time, during the early years of my career. I left my house as early as 5 am (WAT) to arrive at my workplace early because once the road gets busy, I will get to the office late.
On that fateful morning, I left the house and boarded a bus heading down to a particular bus stop where I would board another to the park. On entering the vehicle, I noticed a polite grin from the man sitting close to the door. I ignored it and walked down to my seat. After sitting down, the woman sitting beside me gave me a long, straight look without saying a word.
Thinking that she has something in common with the first man who gave me that look, I changed my seat immediately.
However, after a while, many people fell asleep as the bus moved on. The voice of the conductor telling everybody to get off the bus woke those of us sleeping while we all scrambled to alight from the bus before it reversed.

Quietly, I came down and started walking, then I felt a tap on my shoulder. Turning back, a young man whispered into my ear, you are wearing your clothes wrongly. I couldn’t fathom what he was saying, so I stopped and asked what he was saying. He repeated calmly, “You wore the back of your cloth.
Immediately, I stopped, observed myself, and froze there. He also stopped and beckoned to me to move forward, informing me that it was not obvious. He also offered to call a drop requesting to know which side I am going to. I informed him, and it happened to be along his route.
We boarded the vehicle while we kept quiet to each other because I was still in shock. He alighted before me, while I continued the journey to my workplace. Getting there, I quickly put on my clothes well.
I was greatly embarrassed about the situation. Later in the day, I felt lighter and shared the experience with my colleagues; we all laughed and cracked jokes about it. It was just an honest error. I learnt to pay more attention while dressing up and ensure that I do not leave the house in a rush again.
Today, every time I remember that moment, I laugh it off, relishing the improvements and the tap on my shoulder that saved me from further embarrassment that day.
