Peace, Comfort, Freedom And Mental Balance Are All That Matters In My Safe Haven(#290)

What is your favorite safe heaven for relaxation and why?

Hello, gentlemen and #ladiesofhive. Happy new week. I wish above all things that you prosper and be in good health.

There is a popular saying that no matter how ugly a parent looks, the children must and will continue to love and cherish them. Hence, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. I do hear people talk about their safe haven, especially during office gossip time. Some of my colleagues will say their church, some hotels, some the beach, while others choose their place of work. Every one of them has their reasons for the choices they made.

I have many safe haven, such as the church and sports centre, but my favorite is my room. Yes, my room is my safe haven because after the nearly endless activities at the office, I always look forward to going home, a place to stay away from the endless complaints, requests, and calls from employees, and workload. A place of quietness, peace, comfort, and freedom from the hassles, distractions, and noisy environment. A place that is free of combustion from factory gas generators, vehicle horns, and the emission of carbon monoxide from bad engines.

My room is my favorite safe haven, where I lie on my bed every night, quietly reminiscing about my daily activities and taking a deep reflection on my interactions. I also feed my subconscious with the right things I’ve done while condemning the wrongs done in the day and driving an improvement plan.

Furthermore, my room provides me with a total disconnect from every form of worry, stress, and discomfort I must have faced during the day. Then, I recharge mentally and physically while I rest. The gospel sound from my MP3 Bluetooth speaker also refuels lost energy and gives me soothing relief from any anxiety or challenge I may have faced during the day.

Finally, I cherish my safe haven for the freedom to commune with my God every morning and night in the little corner of my bed away from the noisy world. And each time, I feel like I’m whispering into God's ear.

I do not think I can find such a place elsewhere. Everyone needs such a place where they can express themselves without limitation.

I got confused by the "safe heaven" term on the prompt that you were responding to !INDEED, such that it implies that some (types of) "heaven" is "not safe", which seems to be an oxymoron. 🤯🤓 !WEIRD !HOPE !PIXY
