If a magic genie could grant you one — and only one — wish, what would that wish be and why?
Hello gentlemen and #ladiesofhives, if wishes were horses, if a magic genie could grant me one and only one wish, I would dream no more
I will speed past every delay, anxiety, and fear
I will jump over obstacles, fears, and failures
And arrive at my Beulah land with smiles on my face
Growing up, I wished I had rushed through life
Providing solutions faster than Spider-Man
Wishing that my dreams will come true speedily
But life is a better teacher; it taught me patience and persistence
Life taught me that effort and consistency win the race
I can only wish and dream forever
If a magic genie could grant me one and only one wish
I wished I had comfort at the snap of my finger
To have my name ring bells
To be remembered for good deeds and goodwill
For I learnt that a good name is associated with kindness, goodness, and help.
For true wealth is measured by good deeds, health, and the support I‘ve rendered
If wishes were truly horses, the poor would be kings
Just as I had wished to be a queen
The farmers always planted and wished for a bountiful harvest
The student also wishes for great grades after exams
But must pass through the planting and reading season
Rather than lie down, wishing and dreaming throughout the nights and days.
My journey in life has taught me great lessons
That wishes and dreams play a part in our lives
Dreams give me hope and direction for my chosen path
And wishes kindle the fire and desire for my purpose
Therefore, if a magic genie could grant me one and only one wish
It would be to let my ambition soar with determination to open each year’s door
For life victories belong to the bold, the strong, the resilient who not only wish nor dream but consistently march on till they win.

Then do so, by making those dreams into goals. Each step a milestone to achieve.
To raise my sons in my own home was a dream until it became a goal. Getting a job I love was the first step. Saving $XX,000 down payment was another step, Knowing my limits is a humbling step, learning the tax laws was a boring but necessary step. A side gig was another step and many more.
I am now retired but fully own my home debt free.
And now I hope to see my future grandchildren before I go.
