My Aim of Looking Beautiful - #301

A popular saying crossed my heart while reading through the prompt for the week which is "beauty in the eyes of the beholder".

Taking care of ourselves may have to do with a lot of things, from eating well, taking in enough water, exercising appropriately and having enough rest. Most times, it doesn't really have to go too far like we always hype things when we are actually ready to complicate things for ourselves except for the economy that is about to make things hard but the prayer is our basic needs not turning to luxury.

But when it comes to showing up beautifully in outfits and appearances as a whole, my main motive and focus is to look in the mirror, see myself as a beautiful maiden who's just ready to rock anywhere I go and not to impress anyone.
This is one of the best reasons I try to wear something I feel comfortable in and I have confidence in.

I don't want to know how you underrate what I wear not to be expensive or the best designers but as long as I like what I put on, it gives me comfort and most especially that it's a colour that compliments my beauty then I dont give you a second look on whatever you think because I dress for myself.

Its not my take that it's bad to show up in a way that get people's compliments, gaze, and amazements but all I'm saying is, it becomes a different thing when I decide to look beautiful or run after a glowing skin just for people to see me as something or someone I want them to see me for and not because it's actually me, myself, and that I'm doing them because I want it for myself.

Way before anyone appreciates me, I must have appreciated myself more than a million times. That's the goal and objective.
