I Judged A Book By Its Cover - 275

You know when they say "never judge a book by its cover", a friend I connected with in November, 2025 is the exact sample entity to be used as comparison with that phrase.
We've always been meeting at a church where I'm often invited to minister and even though I merely noticed him to observe him or misjudge him yet, I knew there was always this same face I coincidentally meet here whenever I'm there to minister.

But spending the night after ministration to leave the next day because of some unforseen circumstances, I get to realize that I've actually been seeing this person but we never greeted let alone hold a conversation no matter how little it is.
I guess he's also a reserved person to a new person like I am too but then I began seeing him from a different angle upon our next seeing.

Like, this person doesn't actually mingle or talk to anyone aside someone whom they go out and come in together so I misjudged him not to be a greeting type and I also faced what I came for. I actually didn't initiate the greeting or communication too maybe because he's a guy and not my fellow gender which could have made it easy to do.

Surprisingly, the last ministration I went for in November, he actually greeted me and I was confused at first thinking "was that greeting really meant for me or I mistakenly answered?" lol.
Only for him to initiate a conversation afterwards and from there, we became very good friends up till date.

I misjudged him from afar, but he proved to be a great person, differently to how I originally viewed him to be.
