Discovering The World Of K-Pop

Hello, beautiful people! Welcome to my blog. It's a pleasure to have you in this space. Once again, welcome 🤗

My introduction to K-pop was totally accidental; it was sparked by curiosity after watching a K-drama titled "You're Beautiful." I wanted to know more about the lead actors, so I went online to browse about them, and fortunately for me, I stumbled upon an interesting fact, which was that Lee Hong-gi and Jung Yong-hwa, two of the main actors, were also members of K-pop bands F.T. Island and CNBLUE, respectively.

I was intrigued by what I found, so I decided to browse more about their music without any expectations in mind. I can't remember the title of the first song I listened to, but it was from CNBLUE, and I liked it despite the fact that I did not understand the lyrics since they weren't translated. That was how I spent some time that day: browsing through their songs. There was something about their music that resonated with me. It was as if I had stumbled upon a hidden gem. Yong-hwa's voice was so captivating that I found myself glued to their music, and that was how I found myself falling in love and becoming a fan of CNBLUE's music.

I have followed them for over the years, and I have seen how these guys have aged like fine wine—both physically and musically. Their music has matured, and I must say that it is really hard for me to choose which of their songs I love most because they have a lot of songs that are my favorite. Let it shine is one sing i love so much though.

Another K-pop band whose music I have come to love and enjoy is BTS. I got to know about them through one of my contacts who happens to be a die-hard fan; I don't think there's anything about this guy she doesn't know. There's no day that passes that she doesn't post something about them on her WhatsApp status. I had to check them out on YouTube and found out that they were very popular and had a lot of good songs too. One of my favorite songs is Dynamite, and of course this is also influenced by this person on my contacts list.

THANK YOU FOR READING TO THE END 🤗

I'm not sure if I've listened to any K-pop song before. Maybe I did in the past, maybe in movies, can't remember.
I do stumble on them on social media, I may have to take time and listen to one or two.
