A Korean Dish I Would Love to Try Someday

Food is one of the important thing that we can't do without, and I'll say food has a way of connecting people to culture, even without traveling. There are some food you'll see sometimes and what will come to your mind next is how the food is going to end in your plate, you might even be curious about how the food is going to taste.

As for me, there are about three to four Korea food that I like anytime I see them, but the one that caught my attention and would like to taste is Bibimbap. Yes it's the food I'm hoping I'll have a taste one day. The first time I saw Bibimbap was through k drama when I was watching movies. The characters of the food sat on a table, mixing colorful vegetables, rice ,egg and sauce in one big bowl. The food sight of the food made me pause the screen just to admire it, seeing it for the first time doesn't just food, it look like art saved on a plate

If I won't lie to you, what interest me most about Bibimbap is how colorful the food was with texture together. I'm seeing greens , yellows,reds, and whites in harmony. I was imagining how the food is gonna be tasting, I've not taste the food before , but I know it's gonna be tasting perfectly balance. Spicy from the gochujang sauce, fresh from the vegetables, filling from the rice and a little creamy from the egg. Even though I haven't tasted all this yet, but I can almost sense the mix of flavors dancing in the mouth.

Having said this, I feel like this food reflects an important part of Korean culture which is Togetherness and balance Imagine how the ingredients in Bibimbap come together to form one complete meal. Korean culture seims to value harmony, community and sharing food with others.

I hope to ever get the chance to taste Bibimbap food, I believe it won't just be about just eating, it would be about experience a small piece of Korea itself. It would be about enjoying lifestyle in Korea. Until then I'll keep imagining the taste, and who knows maybe one day I'll be sitting in Seoul eating Bibimbap food.
