March HPUD - Hive Power Up Day - 85+ HIVE Powered Up! - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Sunday, March 1, 2026

Happy March HIVE Powerup Day! To celebrate and participate in this long-time Hive tradition today, I just powered up 85.483 HIVE, which is +44.495 HIVE more than I powered up last month! With this powerup, I've now reached the new total of 17,058.516 Hive Power! What's so interesting is that a good portion of the HIVE that I powered up today came from all the extra HIVE from post rewards, since HBD is no longer being distributed, and it notably exceeded what I received from delegations and income tokens.

After my February HPUD powerup, I had 16,556.939 HP, which means that I gained 501.577 Hive Power in a month's time, which ain't bad at all! This is the one benefit to Hive's current abysmal economy, our Hive Power grows really quickly!

This is my 31st HPUD participation in total, and my 29th consecutive HPUD, so I'm certainly racking up the numbers! I plan to keep going, even if HiveBuzz's monthly HP delegations have been broken for the past two months, as that's just a perk anyway.

With this new total of 17,058.516 Hive Power, I should now gain +36.960-60.984 HP monthly in passive income, based on a 2.60-4.29% APR. With the very poor state of HIVE, the APR continues to reach new all-time highs, just as it did this week once again.
