Attending PTA as a parent.

Good day, beautiful educationist 🥰. Thank you for dropping by my blog today. So today I attended my first PTA meeting as a parent. 🤗 I have attended before as a teacher but this time as a parent.

We the parents were encouraged to assist the children in times of homework, as some children can't really do that just on their own. Also the main education starts from home. We the parents also appreciate the teacher for doing a wonderful job by building the leaders of tomorrow 😁. I have some complaints to make about my child's class assistant teacher.

I have been eager to talk about it because, so many parents have that same complain too, but never had the courage to do so, so I took it upon myself to open up about the challenge we the parents have. My child is in crèche, so it happens that the assistant class teacher for crèche is an elderly woman. This woman I'm talking about is a mother, but the funny and annoying part of the thing is that this particular woman has been eating the children's food.

Anytime my child returned from school, he could tell me that Kaka ate his food. And you know all these toddlers, they just say things the way they see it. So I believe my child. I approached the teacher some times ago to talk to her about the situation, and the teacher confirmed that the woman has been doing that for a long period of time now, and when they try to talk to her to stop doing that, she refuses to change or stop.

And I was pissed off and decided to talk about it in the meeting. So many complaints from other parents too. But thank God we were able to handle the matter, and everything was resolved peacefully.

The proprietress also pleaded with the parents to please pay the children's school fees, as it is the only means of paying the teachers their salary/entitlement. We ended the meeting in peace 🕊️ and harmony. Planning for the graduation that is coming up by August. I will come and share with you again about the graduation. Thank you for reading through.
