Good day friends and my fellow #education lovers, i hope we all are having a great one already. Today's lesson is a very important one as it is part of the 5 magic words that we should always adopt or learn to use more often because we were told or taught that they make situations feel easier. I have never really taken out the time to mention all the 5 magic words while teaching, i think ive always just gone straight into it so i would do that now. The 5 magic words as we all know are THANK YOU, YOURE WELCOME, PLEASE, SORRY and EXCUSE ME. So today we will be talking about the most magical out of all 5 of them which is "Désolé". Désolé means sorry when translated to english and yes of course we will all agree to that, when we say sorry it does soften the mind of the other party.

Now i never told us this, French has gender differences in words, so when using Désolé (masculine) or "désolée" (feminine) in English means sorry, but then did you observe the pattern? an extra e was added to make it feminine.
We already know it's usage and how it varies based on context or different situations. It is commonly used to express regret or apology, often in the phrase "Je suis désolé" (I am sorry). It can also mean "apologetic" or convey a deeper sense of sorrow depending on the context.

Examples
Désolé!: Sorry!
this sounds like an angry sorry, with the exclamation mark, to be more magical, just simply say Desole.
Je suis désolé(e): I'm sorry.
Je suis vraiment désolé(e): I am very/really sorry.
remember the reason for adding an extra E, to make it feminine when it is a female in question.

so today we have perfectly learned this magic word but we should practice more to master it
Thanks for reading
