I like football, but I know the protagonist is going to win, so it doesn't interest me that much. Unlike real-life matches, they are unpredictable. Also, I know in every anime the protagonist wins the fight, but that feels different to me, and watching anime-related sports doesn't grab my attention. What about you?

The protagonist doesn't always win in sports anime...
In Haikyuu!!, there were matches where they won and lost. The author emphasized that sports isn't just about winning.
In a basketball anime, Ahiru no Sora, the main group almost never wins that it's frustrating...
For football, Ao Ashi and Giant Killing are my faves. They're more realistic than the others... There's also a fantasy football anime which I like called Inazuma Eleven. 😁✨
