Squid Game 2 | Greed Human Worst Enemy

After 2years+ this team decided to surprise us with the season 2 of Squid game which was one of the anticipated movie back then, it was really trending then that I had to rush to watch it before people start dropping spoilers and the song "Mugunghwa Kkoci Pieot Seumnida" make me love the movie. Well the plot wasn't what we expected after lot of debtors were somehow coerced into playing some children game with a terrible end twist (death), even though they don't know what they were into and they weren't giving access to opt out but after the first Red Light/Green light game, they all knew they were in serious trouble but at the end of it all 2 men survive the whole death game in season 1 Seong Gi-hun who happens to win the cash price and Oh II-nam that old man with the 001 tag who own the game, somehow I didn't understand why the maker decided to be a part of the game and still end up alive but Gi hun after winning the prize and end of blaming himself since he saw the money as blood money decided to end the game by all means after Mr 001 told him on his sick bed that even if he die, another person will takeover in his place and continue the game.

We waited for a long time but they end up dropping the movie this month, Gi hum wasn't really happy in season too and try all this best to help some of the past players family while secretly getting weapons so as to stop the next game, while finding the main man, he was trailing the play marker who was in charge of recruiting and inviting the players to the game but he end up killing himself after losing a gun game to Gi hun, after that he teamed up with Hwang Jun-ho the policeman who was also looking for his brother and ( also part of the mask people in season 1) they both made it their mission to end the game once and for all but something happened, Gi-hun after failing to catch the New Front Man, asked to be invited into the game as a new player ( the return of the champion) with the hope of sneaking in a tracker to cast their location but during transporting, they remove the tracker and twist his whole plan. He was back to the game as the same number but a different character ( he wasn't happy).

They were 456 in number hoping to earn 45.6billions at the end of the game, during the first game which was Red light/Green light like the first season, Gi-hun noticed his tracker wasn't in his hiding place and was like "Fuck shit", he had to made a new plan by instructing all players on what to do, not to move or they will be gun down but none believe him, they thought he just want to strategize and win the whole cash but it shocked them when the psycho guy with purple hair trick a lady and she got shot for moving, they knew everything wasn't a joke, make got gunned down due to fear during the first game and they end up blaming Gi-hun for not hinting them earlier on. At the end he opened up to them that he was in the first game and he won so he came back to warn and end the whole game.

When Greed Kills

This is the part where I stopped blaming the game organizer and that was because they knew humans are greedy especially when they are in huge debts without any hope of finding means to pay off the debts, they know they will always do anything for money even if they have to gamble away their life but they were trying to prove to player 456 (Gi hun) that no matter how he try to save them, human will always be human when money is involved. They decided to create a voting system after each game, they get to decide if they want to end the game and split the money earn as at that point or continue the game (but majority carried the vote), People were scared and 50% decided to end the game after what they saw but the final decision depend on just 1 player who is 001 ( the playmaker who Gi hun was looking for) and he vote for the game to continue and also join Gi-hun team as a team mate.

This is where this guy made his major mistake, In season 1, he couldn't figure the playmaker until the last moment when he found out in the hospital and this man was the 001 and also part of Gi-hun team because he was the chosen one (the main bet) and now in season 2, he couldn't figure that who he is actually looking for might also be in the game, or have the 001 tag or join his team again, he almost caught him when he called Gi-hun name instead of number but he was really smart to twist it. They use to say your enemy might be closer to you than you think, but this time around, Gi-hun really unknowingly giving out the who information to the enemy hand (The mole) and to me, I think they change the whole game plan because of him from that point on, he made the game way harder for others.

The movie is actually an interesting one, if you are a Squid game fan, you need to watch the season 2 even though there will be season 3 surely, you get to understand the whole plot twist, how we need to be careful of frenemies, how we need to listen more and talk less because we don't know who is who. This is 8/10, holding my 2 because they decide to up us on suspense again.
