Unspoken Hearts

Another TikTok recommendation coming your way guys. This days I seem to spend half of my time there even though I am reducing the time I spent on TikTok. So on one of those days I came across a snippet of this movie titled unknown hearts. It’s a Nigerian movie like some of the others I have reviews over the past weeks.

The movie is titled unknown hearts. Unspoken hearts is a Nigerian romantic movie which features some of nollywoods’ finest actors. Unspoken hearts was released 3 months ago so we can categorise it as a current movie.

Unspoken hearts was written by Eyo Emmanuel and Emem Isong. It was directed by Emeka Madu. It features popular faces like Tracy Edera and Oluwole Enitan.

Unspoken hearts is a movie about a 40 year old woman and her daughter who in the heat of time falls for one man. Now according to the African rule of dating and marriage the man should mostly be older than the woman for reasons best know to them. In this case the guy is a bit older than the woman’s daughter but then way younger than the woman her self who is older than him by 10 years.

Now the battle is between mother and daughter when the daughter finds out that the same man she wants and has fallen head over heels for loves her 40 year old mom. She can’t seem to accept the fact that her man will drag a man with her and she suddenly starts developing hate for her mother. It takes the intervention of her mom’s friend who has a very open mind about things to try to fix the situation.

I won’t lie, I tend to like movies that have this kind of story like cause I am one who also doesn’t believe in the man always being older. I have my own ideas about the age gap though. The other reason why I watched this is because of Tracy Nancy. She always makes sure to body the role she has been given and I am sure you’ll love it when you see her in this movie.

I’ve always made it a known fact in all of my reviews that I actually don’t like the display of sexual scenes in movies cause they are not needed if it’s not an X-rated movie. In this movie we don’t have such. We only have kissing scenes and then if they want to say they had sex we see a scene of them lying in bed talking after doing the do which is a nice one from the director for me.

This is easy to get as you can find it on YouTube at a high resolution if you’re someone who only likes to watch high resolution movies. I have a friend who will never watch a movie unless it’s in high resolution so I know there are people like this as well.

It’s a Nigerian movie so you should definitely know how it’ll end. You’ll enjoy what happens in between the ending and I best believe you can learn valuable lessons from a movie like this.

I’ll give this a 7/10 rating cause just like most Nigerian movies it ends in a similar fashion. Apart from that I liked everything and how the actors did their job.
