LOVE IN EVERY WORD(2025) has driven a lot of traffic on social media ever since it was released. I am not really a fan of movies, but I could say that 80% of what triggered me to go see this movie was the way people were talking about the movie. I perceive some of you here might have also seen or heard about the movie in one way or the other. If you haven't, I urge you to give it a try. I am very much delighted to say I am proud of the fact that this movie was produced by Nigerians who exhibited a lucrative level of creativity.
LOVE IN EVERYWORLD, directed by Stanley Obi, is more than just a romantic movie - it's a cultural mileston. The movie portrayed the lifestyle of one of the major ethic groups in Nigeria called "THE IGBO" not compromising the existence of other major ethnic groups, "THE HAUSA and THE YORUBA"
Bamike delivers a grounded and outstanding performance as CHIOMA, capturing the character's internal conflict conerning her past experiences and her present desires. Uzor Arukwe, Obiora (Odogwu Parara), stole the show with his charisma and emodiment of the IGBO man in him with authenticity. Their chemistry looked so real, thereby making their evolving relationship believable and engaging.
WHAT WAS ON THE DIRECTION MIND?
I think the director balanced the message with cultural commentary. You could see the OBIORA never stopped portraying the cultural lifestlye. His was of dressing, his choice of words and his ascent gave the clear picture of the IGBOs.
In conclusion, LOVE IN EVERY WORD is a heartfelt exhibition of love's ability to ascend above cultural and personal barries. I say this because of a particular incident in the movie. A situation where CHIOMA was trying to withdraw herself from OBIORA because of the fact that he reminded her of her father. In some cases, it would make them go their separate ways because the lady might conclude that the guy would also do the same thing CHIOMA'S father did to her mother. But love would always win, if we give it the chance to win.
