Nostalgia was all I felt watching a FSO of the song from Titanic that I came across two days ago, I've been thinking I don't need to see the movie "Titanic" anymore because as that have seen it, knows how tragic it ended and I don't think anyone will want to go through that again.
But I guess I wasn't ready for what was coming, The "Film Symphony Orchestra" of all the songs in the movie that I thought I had forgotten. While researching on legendary movie soundtrack as regards to the vibes competition coming up, this Suite came up and I found myself stuck with it.
The legendary movie "Titanic" as I remember it to be is an amazing masterpiece that will sweep you off your feet with it's breathtaking grandeur and emotional depth. While the storyline is a very tragic one, the acting from Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet had viewers so mesmerised.
How can a tragic love story be so compelling and beautiful until the very end? We found all that in Titanic and we give it up to the characters who played the main roles. I'm not writing this to review the movie but there's no way one can talk about the masterpiece songs without the movie.
Titanic was one of my childhood's most favourite rewatch, I think I saw the movie over ten times because dad also liked it so much and would play it so many times. At that time, I didn't feel the rush of emotions from the main characters until I saw it when I grew older to understand.
We know of the great artist, Celine Dion behind the opening song in "Titanic", it's my most favourite but then I found myself loving this suite FSO I listened to and couldn't hold back all the emotions I had when I saw the movie last. This is my main reason for writing this post - The Suite.
It started with a set of instrumental compositions, a solo play of the opening song and the other songs played in succession. I thought I had forgotten the songs from the movie except the opening song but this orchestra reminded me of them and left me in a nostalgia.
I'm not a huge fan of "no vocals" music but this has become a exception, I was totally immersed through out the 8 minutes play. I still can't understand how they were able to stay composed, organized and in the emotion of the song until the very end of the last note played.
The solos played at intervals made it even more memorable, I couldn't keep this discovery to myself. The movie was released in 1997 but the titanic suite by James Horner was released in 1998 and this FSO orchestra, 2019. It's amazing to see the movie still living through the years.
I totally enjoyed this and if you want to have a feel of titanic today, this is the perfect sound you'll find to listen to today. I might see the movie again because of this but until then, I'll just enjoy every effort put into this orchestra I've found. If you're yet to see the movie, this is a sign for you.

You wouldn’t believe I saw titanic just a few years ago. I had heard people talk about it but I had never seen it until then. It was a good one.
At least you've seen it, I feel who haven't seen it should be forced to. 🤣
😂😂 we will see about that.
