Ginny and Georgia (2025) || Hard Luck

Yeah, it’s one of those series where you’re done with it, and you don’t know what to say. Not in a bad way. More like in a “Well...that happened” way. I’ve been following Ginny and Georgia since the first season, and I’ve loved every experience. It’s a series, which I’m guessing from the look of things will most likely have a continuation, so there’s not too much to say about it till you’ve gotten to the end. But I got to the end of the third season today, so I’ll just leave a few words for the characters.

Georgia

I love her to the moon and back. She has made terrible decisions, and somehow managed to get out of them, until this season, at least. She may be a lying, manipulative, murderer, but she loves her kids to death, and will do anything for them. So, that has to count for something. One of my friends talked about the fact that she managed to make all the men in her life friends. If anything, I’d like to take a page out of her book when it comes to men, but coughs coughs, who said I need it? Lol.

Ginny

Hmmmm, Ginny should be a rant session all on her own. And maybe, if it were in Season 2, I would have done a well deserved rant, but thankfully, they must have noticed how hard we were beginning to hate on her, and made her less annoying. I know she had a rough childhood. I know no 16 year old should have to go through that. But she was deeply unfair to the people who loved her, especially her Mom. Anyway, that was in Season 2, and thankfully, only a bit of this season. Actually nearly liked her this season. Nearly.

Paul

I don’t know. I want to be mad at him. I want to hate on him so bad for leaving Georgia at her lowest, but honestly, I don’t have the heart to. Georgia came into his life like a wrecking ball, and left smithereens and rubbles in her place. He’s such a sweet guy, and would have made an amazing step dad to Ginny and Georgia. It’s sad that that couldn’t be the case. Really nice guy, Paul.

Austin

Poor baby was just a victim in all of these. He’s so adorable, he didn’t deserve all the trauma he’s had to go through. I don’t know what’s up with that ending, though. Are the script writers trying to introduce a violent streak in him, or maybe imply that he’ll become like his dad. That would be not nice. I almost want to scream. Leave that poor kid alone!!! But, I guess I have no choice but to swallow whatever gets introduced in the next season.

Ginny’s Friends (Maxine and the Lot)

Well, well, well .... Where do we start guys. If it isn’t the chaotic group. I don’t know why movies these days are trying hard to ruin friendships for me. Because why were all these girls so terrible. Maxine was done dirty in this season. There was no reason her friends turned on her like this, while Norah who said mean things and even acted worse to Ginny was off the hook. Abby should pick a struggle, honestly. She’s too much for me, and I don’t know why people are loving her. I dislike mean girls, sorry.

And then, I’m sorry, but Marcus’ sad boy aesthetic is too much for me. And I don’t quite like his acting. Maybe I’m the one wrong, but I’m sure someone else could portray his role better, but depression is a big deal, so I’m not against him cause of that. I just don’t like his acting.

Who else? I like Joe. Really really really like Joe. But that’s a story for another day. I like Georgie with Paul, but Joeeeee.... Okay, I’ll stop fangirling.

Anyway, that’s all for Ginny and Georgia. It’s a nice series, and I would definitely see Season 4, any year they decide to release it.
