House of the dragon- HOTD (Reviews and critics)

House of the dragon is a series which tells the story/history of the house Targaryen. The house Targaryen are know to be dragon lords. Game of thrones fans will understand better. HOTD- House of the dragon is all about the house Targaryen.

The series is really interesting. HBO delivered as usual. I love the storyline and I love how they are weaving several videography into the movie. There is also a great variation of graphics which makes it very interesting.

House of the dragon is the only show that I'm currently following, and it's a pity that we have just one episode left for this season. I spent the whole of September and October watching series which includes She-Hulk, SEE season 3, and House of the dragon.

House of the dragon has been interesting so far. I love the story line. But as we all know, a movie that hasn't been criticized isn't a movie. Below are some critics about the series.

Critics

On my part I feel like they rushed things too much, unlike game of thrones which is developed over the course of many seasons. I've seen many reviews and discussions online about this and I have to agree that the story line is fast paced and a bit bland.

They have not given most characters time to develop and make their presence felt. About half if the cast were changed as the series progressed. Only a few were left unchanged, the likes of Ser Criston, Lord Larys, king Viserys, Princess Rhaena and so on.

Nevertheless, there are lot of movies that does that as well, I mean changing of character to represent their older self. But it seems the impression they gave us on Game of thrones made us expect more from them. The only bad side of the movie is that the story seems very rushed.

One of the critics i saw on Twitter was about the scene where Ser Criston attacked Laenor's brother for no reason. Right in front of the king and his guards and he was left unpunished. He is still alive in the series up until this last episode of the season 1.

House of the dragon is an interesting film to be very honest. Should be talk about the tension and wars in each episodes or the creation of Dragons (which we all know they no longer exist). You'll definitely love everything about the series. Which is why I said earlier that only those that watched G.O.T can relate.

There were some fights that were pretty cool like in the series. One of it was when Daemon was fishing for driftmark. He went on to face the crab men all by himself and he defeated them.

My favorite scene was when Daemon cut off the head of the man that called Rhaenyra (Daemons wife) a whore and her children bastards.

Overall this series is decent and has been interesting so far, can't wait for the last episode this Sunday.
