Welcome to this week's new CineTV Community Newspaper. I hope you are all enjoying your weekend and having an awesome Sunday?

I'd like to think you're already following our twitter, as well as scrolling there to find all the writing prompts that our Social Media Manager @thisismylife has posted there since she took on this role. The Twitter timeline is full of them, and will hopefully fill up again soon.

Until then, of course, we hope that you continue to use the writing prompts that are there. Any prompt is always usable​. We'd love to see you do that!

CINE COMMUNITY UPDATE

As a community, we believe that connection is important. But this connection is of course not only important within the CineTV Community. We also like to see this connection in the form of partnerships with other Communities.

This week we are proud to announce that we have partnered with none other than ECENCY.

CINE CONTEST UPDATE

Like every week, our contest is up and running, in which a number of people have already participated. But there is still time for you to climb into your keyboard too, and write that fantastic blog that can make you a winner too.

This week's contest asks you to write a blog about a movie that shows Decency & Kindness.

Yes, Decency & Kindness. To celebrate our partnership with Ecency, we'd love to see some damn good blogs. You are the movie buffs, and your great reviewing skills should be able to write a good blog about a movie that clearly shows these two great human qualities. Keep these two character traits in mind. WATCHER

Suspense is well incorporated into the story in this hair-rising thriller. A serial killer has the city in its grip. You see a young woman who has just moved in with her boyfriend. She feels increasingly uncomfortable having noticed that she is being watched from an adjacent building.

THE SIEGE OF ROBIN HOOD

A classic story reimagined. The story of Robin Hood is known to everyone, and many films have appeared before. Can this latest version also hold your attention and become a success?

With the theme that remains current in all times. Fighting oppression is not that difficult to achieve success. Much will depend on the actors, the plot and the filming.

MAIKA: THE GIRL FROM ANOTHER GALAXY

Sci-Fi and Fantasy, Action and Adventure, it's all in this film.

At a young age, a boy has to deal with two major losses in his life, discovers a spaceship, and befriends a girl from that spaceship. She may have special powers that she can use during their adventures together, but with her earthly social skills she could certainly use some help from him.

Together they embark on an adventure to eventually help Maika find her way home. It will come as no surprise that this is not without hurdles.

MOVIE & CELEBRITY GOSSIPS

One of my favorite parts of the weekly newspaper. The juicy gossip! I can't help it, I think it's one of the "guilty pleasures", which I will never admit after today. Because like everyone else, I always pretend that I'm not interested in that at all.

• In the past seven weeks, who has not at least looked at one of the many news that came out during the lawsuit that Johnny Depp has filed against Amber Heard. Much of the dirty laundry is hung outside. It's all about Amber's op-ed in 2018. Johnny felt this had ruined his career and filed a lawsuit to clear his name.

  But has he achieved that? Many shocking facts have come out. Both about Amber and about Johnny. No one can doubt that. This relationship was so toxic it was doomed to fail. And whether there can be a winner in this lawsuit at all is still very doubtful. What has been most striking in the past 7 weeks is perhaps the behavior of the general public. Because, in the opinion of experts, that is where the biggest losses have become clear.
  
  

• While we were talking about Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, you might also be thinking about the sexual abuse stories Amber has accused Johnny of. I don't know what the truth is, luckily I'm not a jury. But Johnny is not alone in being accused of sexual abuse. A close friend of Johnny Depp, none other than Marilyn Manson, is also accused of sexual abuse. For Marilyn Manson, things are a little more serious. In Johnny's case, it's only Amber who made these accusations. Marilyn Manson has it a little tougher. He must defend himself against at least 15 women who accuse him of sexual abuse. You might think, "Where there's smoke, there's fire".
  
  

• Now fans can sometimes be very funny. Smoke and fire are mixed up and smoke screens are erected. Makeup can create a shine, which in turn seems to fuel rumours. Supermodel Kate Moss has testified in the much-discussed lawsuit that Johnny never harmed her. Kate is of course a supermodel and she knows how to dress for success. It makes sense to me that makeup is part of that. That she wants to show healthy shiny skin is also quite logical to me. I assume she knows how to use the right natural looking makeup for this. That Johnny looks cheerful, and his eyes shine just as much as Kate testifies in his favor also seems logical to me. That there are then people who immediately suggest that Kate and Johnny will get back together after the trial, that doesn't make sense to me at all!
  
  

• Meanwhile, 40-year-old Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, has other concerns. There is a big gap between her and her father since the last 4 years. Meghan would like to heal this 4-year rift now that she is very concerned about her father's health. He had a stroke, but was allowed to leave the hospital after 5 days. Meghan would like to have private contact with him, only unfortunately she cannot involve her half brother and sister to make this happen. She fears that these two have "their own agenda". That makes it difficult for Meghan to have the private contact with her father, to heal the 4-year rift.
  
  

So, that's enough gossip, after reading all the troubles of te 'famous people' I'm up to date again. What I always realize is how incredibly HAPPY I am that I'm not famous. And perhaps more importantly, how incredibly happy boring my life is! Just enjoying the little things and the love of my partner and the dogs! A blissful ordinary life!
