War is not an easy thing to watch or even write about. Especially it is based on the reality of war, it can be difficult to stomach the absurdity of how we treat others. In my mind though, if we do not study history and the mistakes of the past we can never learn from them. Movies of war give us a glimpse of the suffering that is caused by other people against someone who is also a part of this earthly experience. When we immerse ourselves in this reality it can help us to perhaps reject the barbaric nature of war and to understand the consequences for real people.
I want to take a moment and thank everyone who joined in on this previous contest. We truly value you and your contribution to the community! I know that the topics don't always align with what you are currently watching but I hope that you find value in entering our contests. So don't miss this chance to win some Cine tokens and to continue to stack before the next bull run happens for crypto.
Let's get to the winners!
The first place finisher was @hector077 with movies with Transformers found here: https://peakd.com/hive-121744/@hector077/cinetv-contest-transformers-my-war-movie
While this does not reflect human war, this is a great example of conflict and how it spills over to others who are innocent. Also, my son is a huge Transformers fan! So welcome and congrats!
The second place finisher was @soyunasantacruz with their selection found here: https://peakd.com/hive-121744/@soyunasantacruz/cinetv-contest-war-scenes-with-a-lot-of-humanity-escenas-de-guerra-con-mucha-humanidad-gqr
This definitely captures the essence of war and the brutality and humanity that can be found. Great choice!
The third place finisher was @gpache with Hacksaw Ridge, found here: https://peakd.com/hive-121744/@gpache/cine-tv-contest-119-hacksaw-ridge-hasta-el-ltimo-hombre-ai8
Another brutal war movie but a great choice. Thanks for entering and congrats!
450 CINE COINS will be transferred to the winners.

There is something amazing about children. They are indeed sponges and soak up the environment around them but they also have an amazing amount of resiliency. Adults can learn alot about how to deal with life from children. Sometimes the most simple gesture or comment can turn their whole day around when the adults are mired in their problems. There is a beauty to seeing the world through the eyes of a child. Maybe children give us a glimpse of life at a simpler time or help us to remember some of the magic of life, before we had to face the reality of life.
In this contest, I want you to pick a film that gives you that sense of wonder and magic about childhood. This can be interpreted in many different ways so I will leave it to you to connect your detailed review to the contest parameters. Tell us how the film connected you to something in your own childhood, maybe your dreams or wishes for your own life. You don't have to be too personal if you don't want to but it is always great to hear about personal stories and how they relate to the film and the topic.
That's all for this contest. Be original and have fun. Tell your friends!
If you have any questions or concerns feel free to tag me in the Discord channel (caulderfreeman). Enjoy this week's contest and good luck!

Congrats to the winners! Prizes have been sent out. :) Good luck to all in the next contest!!!
Agreed.
Children appear in almost every movie. I remember they are there in Godzila and other Kaiju movies. adding no value whatsoever. Also they are terrible actors. There are only very few amazing performances.
Thanks for hosting this contest. I will try my best to enter.
Congrats to all the Winners and good luck to the participants.
Evening. Here’s my entry… I think it’s my first time actively participating in a contest 🌹
