Hello and welcome to the 38TH edition of Cine TV Community Spotlight. The Cine TV Spotlight Series has begun in a bid to boost engagement and interaction in the community and showcase the work of deserving authors.
And it’s all simple. Every week, we spotlight works by authors based on the content, originality, style, and word count. It is not a contest, but just our way of creating exposure for the works we enjoyed throughout the week and boosting exceptionally written content by our authors. Simply put, give it your best and have fun while at it, and then we showcase your work here.
So, in no particular order, here are the authors spotlighted for this week:

Title: Armageddon
Personally, I have several things to say about this movie and none of them are good, really. I was hoping that what I remembered at the time as a good movie that I saw as a kid a couple of times until I completely forgot about its existence would be something a little better than what it ended up being when I gave it this last chance recently. While I know that Michael Bay has a certain reputation as a director for making movies that lack good stories and characters, I figured...

Title: The Beatles Never Existed. Neither Did Coke
I first heard The Beatles' early songs when I was a teenager. Back then, my hormones danced to their own rhythm while they sang girls' names. Enjoying those melodies was only comparable to copying the lyrics into a notebook. Girl, Strawberry Fields Forever were (and still are) among my favorites. But that’s a false memory. The Beatles never existed. In Cuba, they didn’t play on the radio or TV, so they didn’t exist. Recently, I came across a disturbing idea...

Title: The Terrifier- The Sixties-Baby v Gen X Opinion
I have had my fair shares of horror over the years but my mom was right. Old is gold. This time, I was seeing a horror movie, she joined me and she didn’t even bat an eye. I asked, “how are you watching this?” With a pillow over my face. Mom looked at me and said, “this is the horror you guys watch these days? There is nothing but slashing. It’s all just blood and tears. Go back to the 80’s. You will see some really terrifying stories.” Now, I didn’t take her advice all the way and rather went back to 2016...

Title: Fountain of Youth
Truly, if you're not ready to uncover hidden mysteries, then don't watch this movie. It was a blast! Alright, first things first — deep breath. Let’s take a chill pill and cool off the suspense. Now… How did I end up watching “FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH,” If you know me, you’ll know I rarely sit still for movies. But when I do? It has to be something mind-blowing — think adventure, comedy, mystery, maybe even a sprinkle of chaos. Basically, a film that grabs my brain, spins it, and leaves it clapping.

Title: Final Destination: Bloodlines
I recently watched Final Destination: Bloodlines and to be honest, I was expecting it to follow the usual formula - one person has a vision, saves some people and then Death comes to collect them one by one. But Bloodlines surprised me. It pulled me right back into that familiar, chilling feeling of knowing something terrible is coming.... you just don't know how or when. But more than that, this installment actually deepens the lore in ways I wasn't expecting.

Title: Wanda Vision
I was on Facebook one time, and I saw a trailer of the movie WandaVision, from the Marvel studio, and I was immediately hooked. I rushed to Movie Box and downloaded it. It's a one-season movie with nine episodes, and I just got done watching it. If you are familiar with the Avengers movie, you'll love this, as this is some sort of spinoff from ENDGAME.

Title: Announcements for Tudum 2025
Chopper looks extremely cute. Ever since I finished season 1 of OP (highly recommended, ironically Netflix made the FIRST successful big budget anime adaptation), I've been wondering what Chopper would look like. It's not Luffy's rubber power that you just get used to once and it's enough (especially with such a charismatic and likeable actor, perfect casting). And we don't see it all the time. In the case of Chopper, it's a bit different.

Title: Upgraded - Love, Lies and London Skies
I was just going through my old notes from last year when I stumbled on the outline I wrote for reviewing this movie. Seemed I wasn't feeling it anymore and left it just where I found it. If you noticed, I'm a hard core fan of rom-coms. I like them and I know why I like them. They make the world seem so much brighter. I mean I can be going through the worst phase of my life and still find myself kicking my feets and giggling just because they finally kissed. It's crazy how much something can influence your mood and being.
And there you have it! Congratulations to all those spotlighted this week. We look forward to more exceptional content. And to everyone posting in the community, we look forward to seeing more of you around.
