if you enjoyed the penthouse series, you will love ``The escape of the seven``

The last time I was so interested and glued to a series was last year, because I get bored before watching two episodes, most of the movies are not as suspense-filled as I wanted, so I ended up dumping them.

One of the movies I watched last year was Penthouse. I was so glued to this series that I skipped some of my tasks to enjoy it; it was filled with suspense and had no boring scenes.

I have been searching for something similar, but saw none until yesterday. I was scrolling through TikTok when I saw a post recommending Korean movies. I decided to try out one of them, which was The Escape of the Seven

I noticed some similarities in the two films, most of the actors in penthouse are also in the escape of the seven, the suspense in both movies is top notch and it leaves no room for the viewer to be bored which kinda make me decide without research that it was the same person who wrote and direct both movies.

I am currently in the fourth episode, so I haven't really watched much, but I can still tell you about what to expect in the movie.

The movie is about a young girl who was abandoned as a baby and was found and adopted by a couple who had no children. It was like a dream come true for the couple, they adore and cherish the baby, and took good care of her... Years later, her biological mother showed up claiming she had lost her and wanted her back, unknown to the couple that she had an evil intent for coming to claim the child, which was to get some money from the girl's grandfather, who was a wealthy man.

She succeeded in getting the child, and also was successful in getting money from the grandfather. The child ran into a problem with her classmate, who was an adult but pretended to be a teenager just to be able to be in the school. A lot of drama happened, the child was framed for things she didn't do, she was bullied, and at a point, she was killed! So they made us believe until later it was revealed that she didn't die and escape when they planned to kill her... Her whereabouts is still unknown, and with each episode, the movie only gets more intense. Once I am done with this post, I am going back to it cos I am done with work for tonight!
