BACK IN ACTION (2025)
Back In Action is a 2025 American action comedy directed by Seth Gordon and written by Brendan OāBrien. It features Jamie Foxx, Cameron Diaz, Andrew Scott, Jamie Demetriou, Kyle Chandler, and Glenn Close.
Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz Star as Matt & Emily, ex-CIA agents forced back into the world of espionage after their secret identities are compromised.
For one, it was so much fun watching this movie. Jamie Foxx is quite the character and I get that some people donāt like his movies but, I gotta hand it to him. The guy does crack me up and he has on point delivery.
Then we have the two put together, giving up their lives to protect family. From my perspective, I know it couldnāt have been easy. Which is why I got excited when the two got a tiny bit of action before things went all south.
Ah! The quirky scenes and cliche lines that are twisted out of characterā¦ haha! Had me laughing. Who would have thought that these two would be boxing rather than having sex? Confused? Go watch the movie.
This movie incorporated both the themes of family and career in the reality of some people. The characters had wonderful lines and personalities that made them stand out. And the actors brought them to life. Stunning acts!

Well, there are moments I just couldnāt watch. Like the pure teenage girl drama and the- who invites a fourteen year old to a club?! Thatās just me anyway. So, the drama that unfolded after busting some balls before shit got real? Totally worth it.
I tell you the truth, apart from the cussing and explicit gestures, I think itās a good watch. Donāt watch with your kids though. Itās rated 16+ and can be watched on Netflix.

The name of the film is very accurate with the career of Cameron Diaz because she was quite far away from the world of cinema etc, I'm glad she stepped away because she wanted to enjoy her life and it is seen that with a fresh air and her artistic soul recharged returns with this film.
I saw a review just recently of this film and I have it listed since that day to watch this weekend on Netflix š and the most positive thing I notice is that it focuses on the comedic and is managing to be entertaining for viewers or at least that I noticed from the two reviews I've read including this one š
Jamie Foxx is not one of my favorites haha but the most positive thing about this film I consider is the return of Cameron and I hope with all my heart for her to welcome this film, her dynamic with Jamie and her return to the cameras, may it be a new lapse of success for her career with good starring roles š
Oh I had no idea she stepped away from acting. But man, she came back with a bang. I really enjoyed this one honestly. Thank you for readingš

When I saw the trailer of this movie, I was actually surprised. Cameron and Fox together?? I am yet to watch it though, I knew it was going to be a good movie. I should see it this weekend, lets see what those two are up to. Thank you for the recommendation.
