[PL/ENG] Yellowstone [SE 01, 2018]

Jak to jest z tym oglądaniem seriali w serwisach streamingowych, że człowiek prosto z jedneog sezonu wpada w drugi i nie zauważa przejścia. Inaczej jest, jak na kolejny sezon trzeba się naczekać. Mnie tu zdziwiło, że jestem już w połowie sezonu drugiego, a jeszcze nie pochwaliłam się, że skończyłam pierwszy!

What's it like when you watch TV series on streaming services, where you jump straight from one season into the next without noticing the transition? It's a different story when you have to wait for the next season. I was surprised to find myself already halfway through the second season, and I haven't even finished the first one yet!

Wreszcie serial, który pochłaniam! Nie powiem, "The last of us" też było spoko, obejrzeliśmy dwa sezony, były słabsze i lepsze momenty, ale ogólnie - nie było to złe. Tymczasem "Yellowstone" to serial, który parę osób polecało, stąd postanowiłam spróbować, acz z obawami - z opisu fabuły to chyba sama z siebie bym się nie skusiła. I co? Po pierwszym odcinku, który był dość trudny w odbiorze ze względu na mnogość postaci, już byłam wciągnięta, bo jego zakończenie było niezłe. A każdy kolejny odcinek ma w sobie coś jak magnes. To jest niesamowite: niby dużo rzeczy się tu nie klei, dziwny ten serial, a tak niesamowicie klimatyczny. Niby nuda, mało się dzieje, a jednak jak dużo zarazem.

Finally, a series I'm devouring! I won't lie, "The Last of Us" was also good. We watched two seasons, there were some good and bad moments, but overall, it wasn't bad. Meanwhile, "Yellowstone" was a series that several people recommended, so I decided to give it a try, albeit with some reservations – based on the plot description, I probably wouldn't have been tempted on my own. So what? After the first episode, which was quite difficult to follow due to the multitude of characters, I was already hooked because the ending was quite good. And each subsequent episode has something captivating about it. It's amazing: so many things don't quite add up, this series is strange, yet so incredibly atmospheric. It seems boring, not much happens, and yet so much happens at the same time.

Zdjęcia fajne, gra aktorska niezła. Costner po latach powraca do gry z przytupem. Jest nieźle, świeżo, ciekawie. Tak, wiem, to serial z 2018 roku, sporo mnie ominęło. Przynajmniej sporo sezonów przed nami, oby trzymały doskonały poziom :)

The pictures are nice, the acting is good. Costner returns to the game years later with a bang. It's good, fresh, interesting. Yeah, I know, it's a 2018 show, I missed a lot. At least a lot of seasons ahead of us, hopefully they will keep an excellent level:)
