Korzystając z miłego czasu powrotu do domu autobusem, zaczęłam sobie w nim oglądać kolejny film, który zaciekawił mnie do tego stopnia, że dokończyłam go kolejnego dnia. Było to całkiem niezłe, moim zdaniem, choć moje zdanie może niewiele być mówiące, bo ja ogólnie kina sensacyjnego nie lubię i z góry ucinam punkty za tę kategorię. Tu jednak ta kategoria nie była tak bardzo jednoznaczna, mimo, że sensacji było sporo. Ale po prostu temat został udźwignięty dość sporym poczuciem humoru oraz postacią byłego rewolucjonisty, który ostatnie lata spędził na używkach, i w godzinie W bynajmniej nie był już superbojownikiem walczącym w imię idei.
Taking advantage of the pleasant bus ride home, I started watching another film there, which piqued my interest so much that I finished it the next day. It was quite good, in my opinion, though my opinion may not be telling, as I generally dislike action films and deduct points from that category. However, this category wasn't quite so clear-cut, despite the fact that there were plenty of thrillers. The subject matter was simply carried forward by a rather strong sense of humor and the character of a former revolutionary who had spent recent years on drugs, and when the time "W" was calling, he was no longer a super-fighter fighting for an ideal.

The cinematography was more than adequate; some scenes were excellent, others mediocre, but overall it was enjoyable. The highlight, in my opinion, was the chase on the desert road: footage from a camera attached to the bumper of a car driving up and down the road, and the ensuing action.

Sixteen years after a successful attack on a prison commissioned by a group of revolutionaries, their former leader, Bob Ferguson (Leonardo DiCaprio), hides in the desert, trying to escape his mortal enemy, Colonel Steven Lockjaw (Sean Penn).
