[PL / ENG] Artur ratuje Gwiazdkę / Arthur Christmas [2011]

Nasz drugi dziecięcy seans świąteczny to "Artur ratuje Gwiazdkę". Polecany, w jakichś rankingach na drugim miejscu. I tak powiem to wprost: nie wierzę w żadne rankingi! Bo ta bajka, może i niezła, ale do "Tamtych świąt" nie ma podejścia.

Our second Christmas viewing for kids is "Arthur Saves Christmas." Recommended, and ranked second in some rankings. And let me put it bluntly: I don't believe in rankings! This fairy tale may be good, but it doesn't compare to "That Christmas."

Choć nie powiem, całkiem fajnie oglądało się nowoczesną, przemysłową organizację działań mikołajowych, gdzie armia elfów wyposażonych w szpiegowskie gadżety rozdaje dzieciom wymarzone prezenty. Sam Mikołaj trochę już wybiera się na emeryturę. I niestety tego roku wydarzyła się fatalna sprawa: jedno dziecko zostało pominięte, a jego prezent - nie dostarczony.

Although I won't deny it, it was quite enjoyable to watch the modern, industrial organization of Santa Claus activities, with an army of elves equipped with spy gadgets distributing the gifts children longed for. Santa himself is now approaching retirement. And unfortunately, this year, a terrible thing happened: one child was left out, and their gift wasn't delivered.

Sytuację postanawia uratować Artur, syn obecnego Mikołaja. Chłopiec o wielkim sercu i nieco fajtłapa. Razem z dziadkiem wyrusza w wyprawę starymi saniami i reniferzymi emerytami.

Artur, the son of the current Santa Claus, decides to save the day. A boy with a big heart and a bit of a klutz, he sets off on an expedition with his grandfather, using an old sleigh and retired reindeer.

Czy uda mu się dostarczyć prezent na czas? Będzie nieco napięcia, Bombel nawet przeżył chwilę grozy i wzruszenia, bo jak to, dziecko bez prezentu. Na szczęście wszystko skończy się dobrze, a przy tym okaże się, że w tej pracy nie nowe technologie są najważniejsze, a serce na właściwym miejscu. Czyli jak w życiu. ;)

Will he manage to deliver the gift on time? There will be some tension, and Bombel even experienced a moment of terror and emotion, because what's a child without a gift? Fortunately, everything will end well, and it will turn out that in this job, it's not about new technologies, but about having your heart in the right place. Just like in life. ;)

Przesłanie jest, ładna animacja jest, ciekawa akcja jest. Wszystko jak należy. Po prostu jakoś klimat "Tamtych świąt" był taki świąteczny do potęgi, a tu więcej akcji chyba. Co kto lubi :)

The message is there, the animation is beautiful, the action is interesting. Everything is just right. The atmosphere of "That Christmas" was simply overwhelmingly festive, and there's probably more action here. Whatever you like :)
