I have been on a streak of watching every Amir Khan movie from back to back, from to Secret Superstar. I made a review of “Secret Superstar” not long ago. Those who are fans of Amir Khan movies will know that they are amazing movies.
I have also watched Thug of Hindustan. Maybe I will make a review about it next. It was also an amazing watch. I have appreciated watching it and I can even rewatch it despite the fact that I don't like rewatching movies after I have watched it.
This movie was released in the year 2022, it has its genre with drama, comedy, and romance. It has a duration of 2 hours and 39 minutes long.
The movie starts with a storytelling scene where Laal who is the main cast of the movie in a train narrating the story of his life to one of the passengers on the train.
He started by telling him about his childhood days with his loved ones. Laal was said to have a low IQ and also had leg braces to fit his legs. As a result of his low IQ, he's been bullied by his classmates. Then one day while he was trying to escape from the bully his braces fell off and then he continued to run without the braces. And that’s when he knew that he could even run so fast.
Alongside he fell in love with a lady Rupa who had been a childhood friend and the grandmother who was a worker in his mother's home. Laal furthered his education and so did Rupa too. They went their different ways but always tried as much to get in touch with each other.
Laal found his way into the Indian military where he worked for some time and he met with Bala. They made friends with each other and finally were sent on a mission alongside other troops to the Pakistan-Indian war.
The war didn’t go well, a lot of catastrophes happened to their troops. Laal tried his best to find Bala but instead, he was able to save other soldiers and even the commandant of the Pakistani army, Muhammad.
Bala had a business idea to make undergarments but was still trying to persuade Laal to join him. Bala Died in the war in Laal arms. After the death of his friend, he decided to take over the business and promote it. He named it after a woman for quick sales and that was the name of his friend Lupa.
Life happened between both friends Laal and Rupa, Muhammad on the other end became friends with Laal and they both grew the business together. Laal paid a good amount to the Bala family as a tribute to his great business idea.
Laal Singh Chaddha
Aamir Khan played a good role here. And it was worth it. I knew he wouldn't disappoint. From the scene where he had to act like a crazy man running across the whole of India down to becoming a renowned wealthy man behind the most popular undergarments brand.
A beautiful lady, Kareena Kapor is surely a legendary actress and she also delivered well. But when a cast disappoints you in their role then it is natural to have that ill feeling against them for doing such. The moment Rupa betrayed Laal, all the interest I had in her from the beginning was wiped off not until she submitted again and came back to her normal self. But it was no different from before she messed up.
Someone I pitied the most in the movie was Bala. The man had big dreams but they almost faded away if not for having a trustworthy friend.
I should give all Aamir Khan movies a 9/10 rating but I will be giving this a 9.2/10. Lol. Anyway, the movie was really worth the time and duration. And if you are a Bollywood lover interested in watching drama, and romance with comedy then I recommend Laal Singh Chadda. The songs in the movie are not that bad either.

From this movie, it is obvious life is what we make out of it and sometimes what we see as aid like the leg braces are actually limitations preventing us from achieving our true purpose in life. This has been a really interesting read 🙂
