Blue Beetle

Many times I have watched sci-fi movies and superhero movies. I have watched Wolverine, Flash, Iron Man, Ant-Man, and many others. But among them all, one that I love the most is that of Wakanda Forever. I don’t know what got me to like the movie, but the death of the Black Panther himself was a hit to the movie. Got me so emotional, but still I know there will always be a way out.

Recently I watched a movie where Iron Man made an end to his career too. Captain America also plays his role and some other superheroes. Linking up those series is just one thing on its own, and that's more of a reason why I lost interest in watching it.

While scrolling through the movie list on my movie box app. I had the intention of watching just any movie that is related to comedy and dramas. But I came across a blue beetle. I had the doubt at first that maybe it might not be interesting to watch, but I just felt I should watch it after reading the short description and the trailer.

Blue Beetle

This is a 2023 American Superhero movie. And it also ran for a duration of about 127 minutes. And it has its genre to be action, adventure, and sci-fi.

The plot

Reyes, the latest graduate in the family, just arrived home to realize that the condition of the people he left at home had worsened, and they had to vacate their house soon. This left him with no choice than to think of a way to make sure he makes money and safe his family.

On the other end is the Kord family with a lot of riches, and Victoria Kord is the CEO of the company. Reyes' younger sister helped him get a cleaning job at Victoria's house.

Reyes got fired the moment he tried to settle a dispute happening between Victoria and Jenny Kord, who happened to be the only heir to her father, the former CEO of the Kord company. Jenny welcomed Reyes and promised to get him another job in her father’s company.

A scarab, the blue beetle, was one of the projects her father had long worked on, but if Victoria should set her hands on it might be of negative use. Jenny sneaked into the company and got her hands on the scarab. She kept it in a burger box while she tried to breach the security system. She saw Reyes and told him his first job was to keep the box safe.

Reyes took the box home and was convinced to open it to see what was in it. Upon opening, he got an attachment with the scarab, and it changed his whole body system. He went through the stratosphere down to the streets and roads of the country. He was extraordinarily powerful.

He tried to find Jenny so they could get rid of the scarab, but she said the scarab had chosen him. So they embarked on an endless battle against Victoria.

Casts

Jaimes Reyes

One of the lead casts in the movie, and i will say he really played a great role delivering his part. His handsome look will surely compensate for his funny acts, too.

Jenny Kord

I love her smartness and also her passionate acts too. She also delivered well, and it really made the watch worth it

Rating and Conclusion

Blue Beetle was worth watching, and if I am to rank it on a scale of 10, then I will give it an 8.5/10. If you are the superhero movie freak type, then this is one I will also love to recommend.
