We did it 🤩 Vienna is getting its own Satoshi Nakamoto Statue, Opening on Wednesday, October 14th, 2026, 5 pm, Congrats to Bitcoin Austria and all supporters.

Wir haben es geschafft, am Mittwoch 14. Oktober 2026 bekommt Wien ein eigenes Bitcoin Satoshi-Denkmal im Viertel Zwei, beim Seeanfang neben dem OMV Gebäude Hoch Zwei.

Das Viertel Zwei ist ein Business und Startup-Park in der Nähe der WU Wien und ideal für so ein Projekt.

Bitcoin Autria, Bitpanda, Incrementum, cryptotax, Bitkern, Was Bitcoin bringt, Stadler Partner, Validvent, Bitcredit, Viertel Zwei und 121 private Spender haben es ermöglicht.

Freue mich auch mit einer Nennung auf der Blockchain und Satoshi-Website verewigt zu sein.

Designt wurde die Statue von Satoshi Gallery und "21 Nodes", ein Projekt die Statue in 21 Ländern zu bringen, darunter auch Österreich. Die erste Statue in diesem Design wurde übrigens 2024 in Lugano (Schweiz) enthüllt.

Die Eröffnung der Wiener Statue findet am Mittwoch 14. Oktober 2026 ab 17h Uhr statt und Bitcoin Austria feiert gleichzeitig auch sein 15 Jahre Jubiläum. Gratuliere zum Happy Blockchain Day!

We’ve done it! On Wednesday, October 14, 2026, Vienna will get its own Bitcoin Satoshi monument in "Viertel Zwei", next to the OMV Hoch Zwei building.

Viertel Zwei is a business and startup park near the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Wien) and is ideal for a project like this.

Bitcoin Austria, Bitpanda, Incrementum, cryptotax, Bitkern, Was Bitcoin bringt, Stadler Partner, Validvent, Bitcredit, Viertel Zwei, and 121 private donors made this possible.

I’m also thrilled to be immortalized with a mention on the blockchain and the Satoshi website.

The statue was designed by Satoshi Gallery and “21 Nodes,” a project aimed at bringing the statue to 21 countries, including Austria. Incidentally, the first statue of this design was unveiled in Lugano, Switzerland, in 2024.

The unveiling of the Vienna statue will take place on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, starting at 5:00 p.m., and Bitcoin Austria will also be celebrating its 15th anniversary at the same time. Congratulations and Happy Blockchain Day!
