TON (Telegram's Toncoin) is now GRAM. How do you like the new name? Would you hold GRAM?

Die Kryptowährung von Telegram wurde von TON (eigentlich Toncoin) in GRAM umbenannt. Finde den neuen Namen besser. Die Blockchain heißt übrigens nach wie vor TON, was eigentlich für Telegram Open Network steht.

Der Coin hieß früher offiziell Toncoin, abgekürzt TON, jetzt wurde dieser Coin in GRAM umbenannt.

GRAM hat seit dem ATH im Moment etwa 80% an Wert verloren und tradet seit der Umbenennung wieder etwas höher bei $1.64. ATH war bei $8.

Wäre cool, wenn man Usern auf Telegram GRAM schicken könnte und es mehr Use-Cases für GRAM geben würde. Das Problem dürfte aber die Regulierung sein, vermute ich, die FinTech-Use-Cases stark einschränkt oder sogar verunmöglicht. Vor allem in der EU, wegen MiCA.

Was sagt ihr zur Umbenennung? Haltet ihr GRAM oder würdet ihr in GRAM investieren? Welche Use-Cases in Zusammenhang mit Telegram wären möglich? Warum wurden diese nicht realisiert?

Telegram’s cryptocurrency has been rebranded from TON (originally Toncoin) to GRAM. I prefer the new name, you?. By the way, the blockchain is still called TON, which actually stands for Telegram Open Network.

Since its all-time high (ATH), GRAM has lost about 80% of its value and has been trading slightly higher again at $1.64 since the rebrand. Its ATH was $8.

It would be cool if you could send GRAM to users on Telegram and if there were more use cases for GRAM. However, I suspect the problem is regulation, which severely restricts or even prevents FinTech use cases, especially in the EU, due to MiCA.

What do you think about the name change? Do you hold GRAM, or would you invest in it? What use cases related to Telegram might be possible? Why haven’t these been implemented?
