Das White House hat am Anfang des Iran-Kriegs dieses Propaganda-Video im Hollywood-Stil veröffentlicht mit dem Soundtrack von Mortal Kombat und Film-Referenzen auf Iron Man 2, Braveheart, Gladiator, Top Gun, Transformers, Superman, Star Wars, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul und Tropic Thunder.
Zwischen den Film-Sequenzen sind reale Video-Aufnahmen von Bomben-Einschlägen auf Ziele im Iran und Bilder des US-Kriegsministers zu sehen.
Das Video endet mit dem Spruch von Mortal Kombat "Flawless Victory".
Denke, dass das Video sehr zynisch ist und Kriege grundsätzlich wenig mit Gerechtigkeit, Humanismus oder "demokratischen Werten" zu tun haben, sondern dass es eher um Machtprojektion, Einfluss, Zerstörung und Elimination geht.
Die Grenzen zwischen Gut und Böse können im Angesicht von Flächen-Bombadierungen (Gaza, Libanon), steigenden zivilen Opfern und Drohungen, die zivile Basis-Infrastruktur gegenseitig zu zerstören, sehr schnell verschwimmen.
Heute Nacht (um circa 0444 UTC) läuft das Ultimatum von Trump, die Stromversorgung des Irans vollständig zu zerstören, aus, falls die Straße von Hormuz bis dahin nicht geöffnet wird.
Der Iran hat wiederum mit Vergeltungsschlägen auf die Energie, IT und Wasser-Infrastruktur von Israel und US-Verbündeten in der Golf-Region gedroht, sollte die USA und Israel die iranischen Energieinfrastruktur zerstören.

At the start of the Iran war, the White House released this Hollywood-style propaganda video featuring the Mortal Kombat soundtrack and references to Iron Man 2, Braveheart, Gladiator, Top Gun, Transformers, Superman, Star Wars, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, and Tropic Thunder.
Between the movie clips, there are real video footage of bomb strikes on targets in Iran and images of the U.S. Secretary of War.
The video ends with the Mortal Kombat catchphrase “Flawless Victory.”
I think the video is very cynical and that wars generally have little to do with justice, humanism, or “democratic values,” but rather are about power projection, influence, destruction, and elimination.
The lines between good and evil can blur very quickly in the face of carpet bombing (Gaza, Lebanon), rising civilian casualties, and threats to mutually destroy each other’s critical civilian infrastructure.
Tonight (at approximately 0444 UTC), Trump’s ultimatum to completely destroy Iran’s power supply expires if the Strait of Hormuz is not opened by then.
Iran, in turn, has threatened retaliatory strikes against the energy, IT, and water infrastructure of Israel and U.S. allies in the Gulf region should the U.S. and Israel destroy Iran’s energy infrastructure.

Mit gefällt das Video nicht. Zu agressiv und wenig erklärend warum etc. Propaganda halt.
Was das Ultimatum angeht so gehe ich davon aus, dass bereits hinter den Kulissen verhandelt wird.
Vor ein paar Minuten hat Trump das Ultimatum um 5 Tage verschoben, finde diese Taktik mit der Androhung der Zerstörung der zivilen Infrastruktur eine Grenzüberschreitung, aber in jedem (US-)Krieg wird auch die Stromversorgung angegriffen, um dem Feind zu schaden. Bisher konnten sich die angegriffenen arabischen Länder aber kaum wehren und hatten nicht die Mittel für Vergeltungsschläge.

INSANE - I grew up in the aftermath of WWII among ruins. I listened to stories my father and grandfather told me, was woke up by my mother frightened by the shift siren of the 'Ankerbrot Fabrik' nearby at 6 AM, still with airraid sirens in her memory.
