Uber fÀhrt seit Mitte 2024 wieder in Budapest, davor ist Uber 8 Jahre im Clinch mit den Taxi-Regulierungsbehörden gelegen.
Seit 2024 fÀhrt Uber in Kooperation mit dem regulÀren Taxiunternehmen FöTaxi und musste sich Àhnlich wie in Wien den regulierten Taxi-Preisen unterwerfen.
Auch in Budapest sind die Taxi und Uber-Preise mittlerweile staatlich reguliert. Ein Kilometer kostet ca. 440 HUF (1.12 EUR).
Was sagt ihr dazu? Habt ihr schon mal uber verwendet? Finde es im Vergleich zu normalen Taxi trotzdem gĂŒnstiger, da man den Fahrpreis bereits vor der Fahrt transparent angeboten bekommt und auch der ganze Prozess inkl. Zahlung ist extrem praktisch ĂŒber die App.

Uber has been operating in Budapest again since mid-2024, after eight years of wrangling with the taxi regulatory authorities.
Since 2024, Uber has been operating in cooperation with the regular taxi company FöTaxi and, as in Vienna, has had to comply with regulated taxi prices.
Taxi and Uber prices are now also regulated by the state in Budapest. One kilometer costs approximately 440 HUF (1.12 EUR).
What do you think? Have you ever used Uber? I still find it cheaper than a regular taxi, as you are given a transparent quote for the fare before the journey and the whole process including payment is very convenient via the app.
I never used Uber or a taxi, here there is the taxi mafia lobby they will never allow Uber
I haven't used an Uber as it doesn't operate in the city where I live though it does operate in other cities in the country. But I've heard their service is an efficient one. It's been long I boarded a taxi, commercial tricycles have replaced those in my town.
I really like uber. I also feel like it's cheaper than regular taxis and way more convenient.
Also, the experience is sometimes way better than taking a taxi. I've actually had quite a few ubers where the driver offered water bottles, mints, etc. for the clients.

I've seen a few Uber cars around but why should I hire one when I have a nice peppy little Nissan Leaf EV I could
bomb...er commute around in?I have used Uber before as it is cheaper, but I just don't think its a good model since it doesn't seem to generate much profits. It just seems like they want to run the other options out of business and raise rates.
