Ein ereignisreiches Krypto-Jahr neigt sich wieder dem Ende zu, eine Gelegenheit über die Highlights des Jahres zu reflektieren.
Das sind meine Top 5 Highlights von 2025:
1. Neues Bitcoin All Time High
Mein Nr. 1 Highlight war natürlich die positive Entwicklung von Bitcoin, auch wenn es zuletzt wieder bearish aussieht, hat Bitcoin das ganze Jahr neue ATHs geschrieben und im Oktober das derzeitige Top von 126K erreicht.
2. Krypto-freundlicher Präsident
Man kann Trump mögen oder nicht, Tatsache ist, dass es erstmals in der Geschichte einen Bitcoin-freundlichen Präsidenten einer Supermacht gibt. Das ist wirklich unglaublich, wenn man bedenkt, wie viel Gegenwind Bitcoin in der Vergangenheit erfahren hat und teilweise immer noch erfährt.
3. Hive Improvements
Kommen wir zu Hive, auch wenn es im Moment kurstechnisch nicht gut aussieht, so hat sich Hive technisch in 2025 stark weiterentwickelt.
Die Blogging-Frontends peakd (snaps), ecency und inleo haben sich weiter verbessert und machen mittlerweile einen professionelleren und ausgereifteren Eindruck.

Auch eine neue Second Layer (Magi Network, ehemals VSC) wurde gelauncht.
Die Herausforderungen sind aber immer noch dieselben: Adoption, Marketing und die hohe Inflation (Overspending mit HBD, Hive DAO, Hive Proposals, Zinsen auf HBD).
4. Splinterlands Upgrades
Habe mich dieses Jahr durch viele Brawls gekämpft. Mit unterschiedlichem Erfolg, aber es hat Spaß gemacht, dem Game weiter treu zu bleiben. Zuletzt gab es auch ein spannendes Update mit User-konfigurierbaren Avataren und der ersten User-erstellten Karte (Exemplar). Jeder User kann sich mit GLINT jetzt eine eigene Karte basteln. Das ist eines der besten Upgrades seit Jahren.
5. 100K Hive Power
Und noch ein persönlicher Meilenstein von 2025. Habe dieses Jahr 100K Hive-Power erreicht, was mich sehr freut.

These are my top 5 highlights of 2025:
1. New Bitcoin all-time high
My No. 1 highlight was, of course, the positive development of Bitcoin. Even though it has been looking bearish again recently, Bitcoin has set new ATHs throughout the year and reached its current high of $126K in October.
2. Crypto-friendly president
Whether you like Trump or not, the fact is that for the first time in history, there is a Bitcoin-friendly president of a superpower. That's really awesome when you consider how much headwind Bitcoin has faced in the past and, in some cases, still does.
3. Hive improvements
Let's move on to Hive. Even though the price doesn't look good atm, Hive has made significant technical advances in 2025.
The blogging frontends peakd (snaps), ecency, and inleo have continued to improve and now give a more professional and mature impression.

A new second layer (Magi Network, formerly VSC) has also been launched.
However, the challenges remain the same: adoption, marketing, and high inflation (overspending with HBD, Hive DAO, Hive Proposals, interest on HBD).
4. Splinterlands Upgrades
I fought my way through many brawls this year. With varying degrees of success, but it was fun to remain loyal to the game. Highlight war das Hive Meeting in Aachen bei @detlev und das Vorstellen meines Projekts mit den @berlinrebels

Congratulations on 100k HP. I think my highlight was my goals that I reached besides LEO that I revised.
Glückwunsch zu den 100k HIVE, das ist fett! Ich arbeite im kommenden Jahr auf die 21k hin. Vielleicht wird es sogar bisschen mehr.
Mein Hive Highlight kommt aber noch dieser Tage, das Yearly Author Badge. Habe es geschafft jeden Tag zu posten.
Zudem habe ich die iOS App Snapie entdeckt, da wird glaube ich das Microblogging von sowohl PeakD und Ecency Waves zusammengefasst, oder? Auf jeden Fall ist diese App richtig gut gemacht - für Short Content - und es sind auch immer mehr aktiv ist mein Eindruck. Nutzt du die auch?
