Today, I cooked sweet potatoes with coconut milk, a simple and delicious food that reminds me of our life in the province. I used different kinds of sweet potatoes, including yellow and purple ones.

I was happy to prepare this food because it is easy to cook and does not need many ingredients.

First, I washed and peeled the sweet potatoes. Then, I cut them into smaller pieces so they would cook faster.

After preparing the sweet potatoes,
I took a coconut and then squeezed it to get the milk out.

I put them in a pot and added coconut milk. I let them cook until the sweet potatoes became soft and absorbed the creamy taste of the coconut milk.

While cooking, I enjoyed watching the colors of the sweet potatoes mix together. The purple and yellow colors made the dish look more delicious.

When everything was cooked, I served it on a plate and tasted it while it was still warm.

For me, cooking simple food at home is one of the little joys in life. We do not always need expensive ingredients to prepare something know delicious. Sometimes, the food we make from the things we have at home is already enough to make us happy.
