Good evening, gentlemen, today I bring you a very, very good group that gave rock a very particular touch, I'm talking about Rammstein.
Guttenberg in East Germany in 1967 Richard Kruspe was born. At the age of 16 he bought his first guitar in Czechoslovakia, but not because he liked to play, but because he planned to resell it since they were very expensive in his hometown until a girl insisted that he play it and he realized that the girls were brought by the men who played the guitar and for the next two years he began to practice day and night until he really fell in love with the instrument and by 85 Kruspe felt bored with the musical state of his city and moved to East Berlin where he spent his time making music all day for the next few years, but he confesses that it was a very lonely time since he didn't know anyone, but he invested his time in exploring new music.
Much much later Kruspe was travelling on the underground and when he returned to the surface he found himself in the middle of a political demonstration where he was hit on the head just for being there. He was then imprisoned for days and when he was released he decided to leave East Germany but due to the blockade of East German and West German entry across the border of Hungary and Austria there he founded and played guitar for his first group Organ a group that lasted between 1991 and 1993.
In 1994 they decided to form a band and the line-up would be as follows
Oliver Riedel: he as bassist, Christoph Schneider on drums and Till Lindemann as singer and lyricist
"Du Hast" (1997)
"Sonne" (2001)
"Ich Will" (2001)
"Engel" (1997)
"Mein Herz Brennt" (2001)
"Pussy" (2009)
Rammstein have managed to transcend the German language, becoming one of the few bands to have taken industrial metal to global success. Their provocative aesthetics, symbolically charged lyrics, and incredible live show have allowed them to stay relevant for decades. Despite the controversy that often surrounds their songs, they have gained millions of loyal fans around the world.
