Therein lies the great dilemma: if he does nothing and is poor, people will say it was his destiny. If he is hardworking, knows how to multiply his money, and becomes rich, people will say the same: it was his destiny.

This is the part that I don't like about destiny. Because, it's like when they say "an overnight success", people are simplifying and maybe even disregarding all the work that person had to do to get to where they are. Of course, luck and the people around them influence the outcome, but it's the person's actions that helped them get to where they are and take advantage of the events that occurred in his life.
