Appreciating Nature's Beauty - QC Community Contest 171

(edited)

Nature's all around us, and it's what sustains us. In fact, we're a part of nature's tapestry. Therefore, asking if I like nature is kinda like asking if I like life or being alive!

By the way, what's there not to love about nature? Is it the creatures - butterflies, birds, insects, mammals, etc., that make up the fauna, or the plant life, like trees, flowers, grasses, etc., that make up the floral?

Everything about nature is connected, and equally forms a beautiful balance that shows us there's truly nothing not to love about nature. From the tiniest creature to the tallest tree or highest mountain, every part of nature plays a role in making life amazing.

For me, nature is more than just trees, flowers and other creatures – it's a source of joy, calm, and inspiration. I love the simplicity of gazing at the celestial bodies as the light up the universe, watching a butterfly flutter from flower to flower, plus the squeaking sound of the squirrels in the early morning, signalling a new day, and the birds singing their sweet melodies as they gather twigs for their nests.

That's not all, I love the feeling of soil between my fingers when I'm gardening, harvesting fresh produce, and savoring the sweetness of homegrown fruits and crops.

Most importantly, I love that in nature, I can find direction and answers to the numerous questions I seek about life.

Every plant and flower is a gift of nature, a vital part of the natural world, each with its own beauty, uses, and story to tell. They're all important in their own way. So picking one as a favorite feels like not appreciating the others. Still, if I had to pick one, it'd be the Hibiscus.

Hibiscus is a vibrant and beautiful flower, and comes in a wide range of colors - red, white, pink, orange, yellow, even purple and blue plus even multi-colored or variegated patterns. There's a color for everyone. Hehehe.

Did you know that in many cultures, Hibiscus is a symbol of beauty and femininity? That's not all, it's got many uses -

  • For making refreshing drinks /teas,
  • Serves as an ingredient in culinary ingredient and traditional, perfumes, and hair care.
  • For decorations. I love using them to adorn my hair while out in the wild. πŸ˜‚

Call it a super versatile flower!

Here's the kicker, Hibiscus is a low-maintenance plant that thrives in tropical climates, so it's super easy to grow. It's definitely one flower you need to have in your garden. Hehehe.

There you have it. I'm an ardent lover of nature because it has a way of making me feel grounded and at peace - alive. Call me nature's cheerleader, and you won't be wrong. Lol.

I appreciate your kind words. With the beautiful gifts of nature that the Creator has filled the earth with, the least we can do is to appreciate them.
