UNIVERSAL BASIC INCOME - UBI / RENDA BÁSICA UNIVERSAL - RBU (EN/PT)

Universal basic income (UBI) is a political action that can be implemented in all regions of our planet, where people receive a periodic financial amount, usually monthly, regardless of social status or economic power. If we stop to think about it, there are already some situations that resemble this idea. In Brazil, we have the Bolsa Família program and there are similar measures in the United States, funded by oil revenues since 1982, the Alaska Permanent Fund. These are measures that seek to improve people's well-being and guarantee the minimum conditions for their survival in society.

Global geopolitics is diverse, there are countries that are in favor of such measures and those that are against them. Some nations, such as Finland, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, have started pilot programs with basic income assistance. There is a divergence of opinion about this social policy, one point taken into consideration is the reduction of the workforce, since everyone will receive the same amount regardless of their situation.

We must take into account that we are in the era of technological unemployment, machines, programs and artificial intelligence are replacing human labor. The fear of the collapse of society may have encouraged the creation of this social policy, avoiding the problems arising from the lack of employment and alleviating humanity's financial problems.

I am in favor of the existence of this social program, however, I do not agree with the Socialist thinking that says that everyone should benefit, without exception. In life there are rules, with this program it should be no different, people must follow the rules of coexistence in society to have access to such benefit. For example, you receive money to survive, stealing from someone goes against the basic principles, the punishment would be to lose the benefit and be arrested for it. A renda básica universal (RBU) é uma ação política que pode ser implementada em todas as regiões do nosso planeta, onde as pessoas recebem um valor financeiro periódico, geralmente mensal, independentemente de status social ou poder econômico. O objetivo básico dessa medida é garantir a sobrevivência de todos os cidadãos.

Se pararmos para pensar, já existem algumas situações que se assemelham a essa ideia. No Brasil, temos o programa Bolsa Família e há medidas semelhantes nos Estados Unidos, financiadas pelas receitas do petróleo desde 1982, o Alaska Permanent Fund. São medidas que buscam melhorar o bem-estar das pessoas e garantir as condições mínimas para sua sobrevivência na sociedade.

A geopolítica global é diversa, há países que são a favor de tais medidas e aqueles que são contra. Algumas nações, como Finlândia, Holanda e Reino Unido, iniciaram programas piloto com assistência de renda básica. Há uma divergência de opinião sobre essa política social, um ponto levado em consideração é a redução da força de trabalho, já que todos receberão o mesmo valor independentemente de sua situação.

Devemos levar em conta que estamos na era do desemprego tecnológico, máquinas, programas e inteligência artificial estão substituindo o trabalho humano. O medo do colapso da sociedade pode ter incentivado a criação desta política social, evitando os problemas advindos da falta de emprego e aliviando os problemas financeiros da humanidade.

Sou a favor da existência deste programa social, porém, não concordo com o pensamento Socialista que diz que todos devem se beneficiar, sem exceção. Na vida existem regras, com este programa não deveria ser diferente, as pessoas devem seguir as regras de convivência em sociedade para ter acesso a tal benefício. Por exemplo, você recebe dinheiro para sobreviver, roubar de alguém vai contra os princípios básicos, a punição seria perder o benefício e ser preso por isso. Trabalhar em algo para pagar sua estadia na prisão. Livre arbítrio, suportar seus erros e conviver com eles.
