My Contacts Are My Priceless Gifts

Contacts are part of my support system. They can be friends, confidants, and relations. They can also be people we come into contact with in our daily endeavours, such as in the workplace, professional or religious forums, and so on.

We may have good and bad contacts. Good contacts can render valuable support to us, such as sharing information about things happening around that we are not privy to.

For example, the government recently opened up a portal for 250,000 free business registrations in my country of origin. I was not aware of this opportunity. While browsing, I found the update on one of my contacts' pages and requested the person to share the link with me. I was excited about the opportunity. Assuming the person is not one of my contacts, I would have missed the opportunity.

Once I am in contact with individuals I feel can impact me, I collect and save their contact information for the rainy day. I also save the contacts of candidates who go through the assessment during recruitment. In any case, we need their services, especially the engineers. I will reach out to them for support. Happily, none of them has rejected such calls for duty.

Furthermore, I keep contact information of all the artisans who have worked for us in the house. This gives me easy access to varieties and enables me to resolve electrical, mechanical, and other issues quickly,

Conversely, not having a good contact may be detrimental to our plans and success. It might lead to delays and an inability to flow with the trend. It can also be risky. If something sinister is happening around and the person is shut off from such information, instead of staying safe, the person may become a victim. Hence, irrespective of our status and level of enlightenment, having good contacts is priceless.

Additionally, getting good contacts should be encouraged; it saves a lot of time. For one to obtain good contacts, the individual must be open to sharing ideas, participating in open activities, and be willing to share their own contact information and render support.

In conclusion, do unto others as you would want others to do unto you.
When you are good, open to helping others, people will want to connect with you; at the same time, you are building good contacts and enlarging your circle. Thank you for coming around.
