Fears

“Cowards die many times before their death,” a popular saying by William Shakespeare. I have watched several movies, and in real life, how people do give up in the face of great fear. This could be fear of limited resources, intimidation, the future, and bullying. Fear can be defined as an emotion or sense of danger in the sight of uncertainty.
Fears limit us a lot in the pursuit of our daily achievements because it deals with our subconscious.
Once upon a time, I abandoned a job assessment because of fear. I thought the assessment would be difficult, only to learn from those who attended that it was not difficult. It was a bitter lesson for me because I had been following the organisation’s recruitment; when the opportunity came, I didn’t pursue it to a logical conclusion for fear of writing and failing an assessment.
Subsequently, I had to sit down in front of a mirror and sincerely advise myself of the importance of living above fear to move forward in life. To overcome fear, I started engaging in online preparatory test-writing websites. I also engaged in frequent interview practice to strengthen my confidence and prepare my mind for such assessments, whether online or offline.
Presently, I still practice often and make sure to update my skills frequently to reflect my competencies. Furthermore, I attend scheduled assessments to continue sharpening my skills. Sometimes fear of failure will set in, but I will always overcome it by talking to and encouraging myself with the ones I have attended, feeding my inner man with optimistic thoughts rather than negative ones.

In conclusion, I try to stay optimistic in my life pursuits rather than feed my inner man with fears and anxiety. This helps me to wash away negativity and stay positive. I also sieve my friends list and remain highly focused on being successful in life.
