Marketing -
Hello #qccommunity friends, how are you doing today? Happy midweek.
Marketing is the process of convincing people to buy a product or service that meets or exceeds their needs and expectations.
There are 4 Ps of marketing that form the basis and technique of marketing. They include product, price, promotion, and place.

Advertising and Marketing Our Products
Product is what to sell to a target audience within a geographical setting, while the behaviours of such persons are to be studied over time to understand the strategy that works best in penetrating that environment. This is because each target audience is different. They are separated by age, gender, and geographical location. The product that suits an elderly man might not suit a child or a teen. So, the company makes products tailored to the target audience and locations to help it penetrate the market and gain a competitive advantage.
Second is price: a marketer who knows how to work with price can win many sales within a specific time, especially when penetrating new markets. This includes on-the-spot discounts, promo prices, and credit facilities depending on quantity and other variables.
Promotion: using adverts, social media, webinars, and websites to showcase the product and educate the target audience through tailored advertising tools that appeal to them is a great winning marketing technique.
Place: the major location of the company must be accessible and appeal to both prospects and existing customers. The ambiance and customer relationship activities must be appealing to entice and retain customers.
Marketing might not manipulate customers against their wishes; rather, they convince prospects through a like-for-like competitive advantage and win them over. However, when they are doing damage control, some of them fall below professional standards because they are desperate to make sales.
Good marketers have often influenced me through fact-checking and comparison advantages with other products to convince me to switch to their products.
Recently, I went to an electronics shop for after-sales service of a rechargeable fan I bought there. One of their marketers met me and did an on-the-spot survey of my purchases. One thing led to another; we went to their showroom, and through her overwhelming power of convinction marketing strategy, I bought a blender from them on the spot. I was happy I did because I have been looking for someone to explain the differences and lead me to one, which she did overwhelmingly.

Marketers will likely continue to influence people because companies will sell their products, but the best strategy is to explain how those products would meet customers’ needs and allow them to decide and make choices through follow-up calls and check-ins to close the sale.
In conclusion, marketing is a great tool for a win-win balance between customers and the company that makes the product when it's done professionally.
