Emergencies - Are you prepared for a global collapse or World War III? Does your country have a protocol or plan in case of a World War III or a global collapse? Do you have an emergency kit, a bunker, canned food, water, batteries, etc.? Do you think we will experience a World War III or any other type of global collapse?
Hello #qccommunity, happy new week. I welcome you all to my blog for this interesting prompt.
Emergencies are defined as sudden incidents that require urgent attention to prevent escalation or to contain the issue to prevent loss or further damage. This emergency can come in the form of a man-made or natural disaster.
Nobody likes emergencies; however, we do have some safety gadgets around that are made to contain such situations when they occur. For example, we have fire extinguishers and anti-flame liquids to quench fire at the lowest level. There are also fire vehicles that fight large-scale outbreaks.
On the prompt for this week, asking “if I am prepared for a global collapse or World War III”. Honestly, I am not prepared for such a situation because I think the superpowers would not want such escalation. In such situations, there will be loss of life, both human and animal, and massive destruction of property. There would be a serious famine and scarcity. Inflation will triple. How much food would one need to stock in such a situation? I also do not have the kind of resources and permission to acquire war weapons for personal use.
However, if such a situation arose, my country is capable of containing it. They have played big brother and giant of Africa to neighbouring countries during such escalations. In my country of origin, the military always celebrates its day on January 15. There they show the strength of their weapons and what their knowledge, skills, tactics, and wits. Though I know that they do not always display everything.
Furthermore, I have my Personal protective equipment (PPE) and some home safety tools that I use at home and at the office. Finally, with tensions rising around the world. I do pray for world peace and love. I also pray for the leaders to be filled with brilliant ideas that will reduce rancour and hate in society and devise better ways to dialogue rather than threats and rumours of war. I prefer a world where citizens stay alive and thrive with peace and love.
